id rather have unbalanced 4v4 than different unit stats for each mode. Itd be really confusing to be playing a 1v1 and getting used to some unit beating another, but then you go into another mode and now the same unit sucks in the same situation.
However i wouldnt be against altering the resource income some for team games. |
im not totally sure but i always thought that razed buildings opened up more visibility (just not complete sight as if it werent there). |
i dont think i ever had this happen to me until after the patch. since the patch theres almost always one team where the mg team stops retreating then they die because theyre just sitting there not doing much. |
you could do this yourself by flipping a coin. There might even be an app for that on your phone. |
yeh coh2 isnt really a game you can lose out on for a couple minutes than pop in and pick up the slack.
i wouldnt be too upset to see it, but I dont think itd help your chances of converting a loss in to a win. |
i think this patch must be pretty balanced because theres a high frequency of all factions being called OP so far. |
also i dont think either side could set up forward bases and buildings in like 20 seconds.
they should definitely add more realism, for instance building a building should take all day. And you ought to need 3-4 squads of engineers minimum. |
well hopefully theyre changing the warspoil system so its not based on pure random chance. Something along the lines of what OP suggested would be a good idea. (perhaps make it a little less farmable, like win a match on one of each allies and axis in a day rather than just play them) |

I think they should return button to how it was.
but in turn raise the CP requirements of guards rifles, then maybe increase their survivability stats a little since you cant bring them out until later.
This would make it so you can still use them to assist with taking down panthers and elefants which soviet tanks are no match for on their own.... Guard rifles ought to start being available around the 15 minute mark
This would also fix the issue with spamming snipers and guards rifles in 1v1 (I suspect this is the main reason for their nerf). Guards rifles would come out too late to handle light vehicles and light tanks. But theyd still be a resource to use to take down the larger tanks. |
