Stuff like German Infantry doctrine are even stronger now with the capping speed and reinforcement buff. The likes of twisted tootsy certainly had no issues last patch spanking soviet players with it. And that was without the new T4 buffs. Lets at least wait a few days to see how the meta pans out before crying that axis are useless shall we? And as the largest gamemode it should see it's fair share of balance adjustments. Or have you forgotten pro 4vs4 players play this game too? Certainly I'm sure a few of these "casuals" like sturmpanther or the angry bears would have no issues taking you down in a game. lol as if infantry late game is gonna win you the game. They nerfed the tiger which was the only reasonable way to consistently win with ostheer since they have no builds that will give you mapcontrol compared to the soviets. So the only way to win was to stall the game and wait for the Tiger to save you... now that strategy is gone and with it the entire faction will never be played at a high level again because the dev team gave nothing to compensate for it and no cheaper gren reinforce at T4 isn't gonna win you the game. If 2 mediums can't beat heavy with loss of 1, then heavy is too strong. Because i don't play communist faction. 2 mediums should beat 1 heavy is just static shitty game design. Mediums should have the advantage of being faster and be able to be all over the map. Heavy tanks are too mobile. Problem also come from that its too easy to snare in coh2. How hard is it to understand good game design? If Heavy tanks aren't powerful they are NOT fun to use. If they are a no brainer to get then NERF THEIR SPEED AND ACCELERATION like they worked in coh1. Instead, with the mainline buffs for Sov and USF, I'd just keep your composition at 2-3 Grenadiers max and back them up with infantry which deal more damage for their cost like Assault Grenadiers, (G43) Panzergrenadiers or Stormtroopers. I get either overwhelmed or outtraded in the lategame if I solely rely on LMG Grenadiers as infantry. Actually, certain players like Brosras, Jae, Nicko and Stuve like to skip T1 with double Pio + double MG42, rush out Pgrens, 222 and Jaeger Command Squad and give their 2-3 Pgrens G43's. Tech costs has nothing to do with MP drain from replacements when talking about army composition. Ostheers inablity to rely on a mainline infantry makes them into a house of cards faction... if you doing well you are doing really well but one good flank or lucky grenade/mortar can wreck your army so fast no other faction can compare.
