If Axis can have 2 Stug I believe UKF can at least have 2 AT or 1 Cromwell to defend his territory
UKF doesn't shit fuel, if he build 1 mortar and 1 bofors, he'll be late in fuel if you don't build any fuel cost unit yourself. But yes, you should try to take the emplacement with your first stug, don't be too greedy don't lose it.
UKF also doesn't shit manpower, if he has 1 mortar, 1 bofors, 2 Atgun, hell he doesn't have any infantry to contest yours. |
Why do you need stuka or mortar HT when you can rush 2x Stug or 1 OKW Pz4 and rape the simcity base?
OKW = highly mobile army, unless you build your HQ too close to the front line (but that's your fault), mortar are kind of useless if you micro well (not blobbing).
Ostheer = Have to be carefull with your HMGs but emplacement means no early cromwell, so rush T3 2xstugs and one push with your army to reduce them to ashes.
The only real issue with 2vs2 is the blobbing factor. But all factions are at the same page here. |
5men squad with Lmg42 upgrade = having little obers squads after 4 minutes. Now maybe it is what you want but I hope not relic balance team.

I will be looking forward to when the USF tech also gets their free abilities nerfed too then? Like Major retreat point, and lieutenants free bar and captains free double zooks. Should be fair swap.

You already pay popcap for that, but I agree with you if Lt/Cap/Major become non mandatory to build to tier up, a kind of upgrade. Many times in 1vs1, it is better to send the major to cap and let it die in the process to reduce the popcap.

In this matter, you all are greedy, Relic and Farmers. Relic adding new content doesn't mean you must absolutely get it, even if it is a paytowin commander you can still play without it. Now Relic offers a chance to get the stuff for free with luck through Warspoil and it is already nice from them, free Warspoil could be only related to less interesting stuff.
Hopefully soon, Relic will release the new warspoil system, be prepare to farm a lot to get the most expensive ones, but at lease the randomness is half removed. |
90*4 munitions on 4 squads, thats 360munition. now tell me how many bars/bren/1919 you can equip with that and just walk over these squads with your infantry?
Bars X2 on 4 rifle squads = 480 ammo, BAR cost 150/25 fuel to unlock and then yes you can roll over volks alone, but not volks + jaegers.
I don't really understand your argument, except Cons crying in the corner, other mainline infantry need ammo to upgrade their dps.
It was the same price for OKW when their had resource starvation then now which is the source of the issue with the Volks.

Not, he doesn't need it, that's the point. Once you have your 3 or 4 volkshrecks, you don't need to spend more ammo in upgrade with the Scavenger Doctrine unless you want to add 1 or 2 obers to your deck.
There is nothing incredible to understand in that, the faction has been designed around fuel and ammo starvation. Starvation removed, some units have seen there fuel cost increased but nothing has been done around munition. Many OKW special abilities are still free to access, cheap or free to use thus you can dedicate all your resources in shrecks and flamnades and then scavenger arty when you completed your little blob of shreck. |
Before nerfing volks, they should complete the redesign of OKW. 6 months to finish the redesign is plenty stupid.
Adding ammo side cost to every upgrades and abilities like for any other faction. Then early shreck blob could still exist but at cost of great gaps in other areas.
Honestly it becomes boring to play vs OKW Scavenger doctrine every single 1vs1 game. free upgraded Jaeger + shreckblob quickly completed (free shreck unlock + free flamnade unlock) + free healing + free repair dockstation + free super wide area denial cannon = spam arty barrage + spam flamnade at 15 min mark.
Volks aren't the problem, they are the most visible and negative outcome of a very badly designed and balanced faction. |
Relic opens the alpha and almost let it die, Brad was there for a couple of days after release and that's it. I don't know what they were expecting us to test because they had no test plan, no test scenarios. I did 8-10 games compstomp (around 15min per boring games) to test the features/mechanics but except for the basic ones you need to play too many games to test everything and get a real opinion, and we all know that the purpose of this alpha wasn't to play games but testing the result of them. I would have expected Relic to provide more support/tools/access to test the maximum of it. But definitively Relic is Relic.
They would have receive lot more relevant feedbacks if they had presented it to the whole community explicitly saying the version present would maybe not be the definitive one. |
