Bazookas can be better in Axis hands against Allied armor than they are in Allied hands against Axis armor. Especially in games where IS-2s or Pershings don't exist.

But at the same time, Panzerschrecks are far more powerful in Allied hands than they are in Axis hands.


Uh, no. Panzershrecks are hands down better vs everything compared to bazookas. Anyone saying otherwise is just ignorant.

Bazookas reload 2 seconds (30%) faster than a Panzershreck while losing 50% damage and penetration. Sure, if the Bazooka fired twice as fast than it currently does, it would be worth it, but having only 2 seconds of difference while losing half the damage and penetration values isn't even worth the trade off.

Why not remove shreck and give volks piat type faust (obvs with faster missle speed and a auto shot[not target abilty])?

Before nerfing volks, they should complete the redesign of OKW. 6 months to finish the redesign is plenty stupid.

Adding ammo side cost to every upgrades and abilities like for any other faction. Then early shreck blob could still exist but at cost of great gaps in other areas.

Honestly it becomes boring to play vs OKW Scavenger doctrine every single 1vs1 game. free upgraded Jaeger + shreckblob quickly completed (free shreck unlock + free flamnade unlock) + free healing + free repair dockstation + free super wide area denial cannon = spam arty barrage + spam flamnade at 15 min mark.

Volks aren't the problem, they are the most visible and negative outcome of a very badly designed and balanced faction.

Let me guess, you'd pick con PTRS over zooks as well for their superior cost effectiveness?


you can have 2 zooks for every vg shrek. and 2 zooks will outperform a single vg shrek by miles. not to mention you can equip them on RE.

he must have every munition point the map to spam inc nades, equip every volk with shrecks and use 180+ muni barrage. dare if he laid a mine or used a medpack if he goes mech truck first.

Not, he doesn't need it, that's the point. Once you have your 3 or 4 volkshrecks, you don't need to spend more ammo in upgrade with the Scavenger Doctrine unless you want to add 1 or 2 obers to your deck.

There is nothing incredible to understand in that, the faction has been designed around fuel and ammo starvation. Starvation removed, some units have seen there fuel cost increased but nothing has been done around munition. Many OKW special abilities are still free to access, cheap or free to use thus you can dedicate all your resources in shrecks and flamnades and then scavenger arty when you completed your little blob of shreck.

2 zooks on RE vs OST P4 45-60secs fighting front armor.
Volks with schreck vs Sherman - 43secs.

Max range in both cases.

seriously making things a lot more complicated then they need to be. Remove shreck give snare (paust) and give a added AI option like mp 40's. Problem solve, now you have longer light vehicle play, no more volks blobs and your tanks don't have have to instant gib by the enemy.

Shreks, incendiary nades and healing is free with tech, scav nades are 15 muni for 5 grenades, jaegers require no upgrades. All OKW infantry get buffed DPS though vet 4-5 again free.

Tommies need to pay 150mp 15fuel+30muni per use for grenades, tommies need to pay 150mp 15fuel for bren guns+60 per gun. Tommies need to pay 150mp+35fuel for 5 man squads.

Once you reach vet 3 with your tommies they will drop their 120muni upgrades after losing a third model in combat.

OKW fanboy status = Destroyed

Investing in fully upgraded Tommies this patch is a noob trap and any decent UKF player knows this

Volks are 10x better mainline infantry not because of how they stack up 1vs1, because they are so spammable and cost effective especially vs UKF.

Go read the math in my post and explain how you think volks and all their perks are justified in their current state

Bars X2 on 4 rifle squads = 480 ammo, BAR cost 150/25 fuel to unlock and then yes you can roll over volks alone, but not volks + jaegers.

I don't really understand your argument, except Cons crying in the corner, other mainline infantry need ammo to upgrade their dps.
It was the same price for OKW when their had resource starvation then now which is the source of the issue with the Volks.

I wasn't comparing the schreck to the bazooka to each other directly in that sense. I understand the propensity to number crunch and argue in these threads, but that's not at all what I was comparing.

Why volks have better utility than scripts on a faction which supposed to have specialist units, again?

Volks should have AI/AT upgrades, where their AT upgrade actually reduces their dps against infantry (shreck snipes ftw).
