You know the same Germany army that spread propaganda to their troops on the front from how "pathetic" it was the French had to depend on colonial "savages" for the defense of france (their words not mine). Imperial Germany has something like 5 black soldiers that served in Europe at the time and three were musicians in Hussar battalions, from what I've read only one was posted anywhere near the front. Really vs OKW that is my biggest fear as a good Luch player can wrestle map control. Considering you has faust+buffed rakketen now the AEC is not as strong as it used to be. Moreover, the 17-pounder is extremely resilient to: - On-map artillery (brace) Lefh hardcounters the 17pdr even with brace, sure you will only get 1-2 shots in before he toggles it, but by the time his braces wears off you can bombard him again and destroy the emplacement. Thread: Why does UKF lack a snare for infantry?3 Jul 2016, 13:47 PM The Sniper was designed to be UKF's snare but by double nerfing the sniper (ability is now vet 1+easier to kill) it leaves you with nothing reliable to catch vehicles. In team games you don't really feel it but in 1vs1 it's a massive hole in your army, OKW used to at least have shreks before they had faust. I think so many other thinks need fixing except all those USA abilities (hello 50% of ostheer commaders) In terms of commander abilities and call ins Ost are by far the strongest next to soviets here, although I wont disagree they depend on them and stock USF/OKW/UKF in some aspects are stronger. Spotting scopes, univeral vehicle smoke, Stukas, dive bomb,Pak43,Howi. Command PIV/tiger/ele/early puma etc etc yes the rail arty might have like two less shots than the UKF equivalent and the community commander (like the soviet one) sucks, but in the grand scheme of things your bread and butter commander wise is just better and they are much more well rounded. Especially vs brits, they can't panic call in a Valentine or Churchill and expect it to perform like a Puma or Tiger Ace would In: COH2 Balance

So a wait an see approach for volks seems to be the verdict, though most of the arguements against changing them seems to be early game is fine, with no mention of late game. Obers still seem to be a bug bear, can anyone post a game in this patch where Obers actually fit well into the 1v1 meta? Why does everyone seem to think good luchs/puma gameplay overides every other issue? If T1 is not a vialbe build order from the get go something is wrong with T1 and how it meshes with the T0 units. I'm fine with the removal of snowflake status, but give OKW something more then a luchs rush for 90% of games. Options is what makes a faction interesting. Obers could use a MP decrease to 360 along with a hefty vet nerf. Buying them is just an investment into getting them to Vet4, then they become OP with suppression. Otherwise you might as well just spam StG volks and MG34's. In: COH2 Balance
