Explain and quantify your post please.
As it is like this, it doesnt explain at all "why" or "how".
Because allies had to learn not to blob, and even then walking stuka can single handedly destroy 2-3 squads and tanks.
This is a knee jerk reaction to the same thing.
Relic obviously intended this as there is a 300+ thread on why the walking stuka is broken so they probably wanted the other rocket arty brought in line. It needs a cost increase, thats it. |
How good is the Katyusha now? Is it as good as the panzerwerfer or walking stuka?
Walking Stuka fires 50% slower but has 100% accuracy and does way more damage if the bombs hit something. Kat punishes blobs with its first 3 rockets, then they move, then it functions as an area denial weapon.
People are upset because right now Kat can easily destroy the OKW trucks, other than that it's pretty much fine in comparison with walking stuka. Just needs a price increase. |

It's actually so awesome to see some German tears for once.
Now you know how we feel when your walking stukas insta wipe like 2-3 squads. I will admit the Kat needs a cost increase if it is going to keep this insane damage, but I do really like finally being able to counter the stupid OKW blob of doom.
Also the OKW trucks needs a HP increase vs arty, 2 kats firing simultaneously can wipe a truck instantly.
Other than that I like the new Kat changes, it helps counter the huge buffs the OKW got in the last patch. |

It comes out at 9 freaking command points and can easily be destroyed by a pak, panther, tiger, king tiger, combined arms ect.
For gods sake it only has ~600 hp and has relatively average pentration. What so the allies can't have any fucking effective tanks? The Jackson is a POS and the regular sherman is pretty meh. For a 9CP call in a ability on 2 commanders it's completely fine. |

Katyusha absolutely obliterates the OKW now so I am fine with that considering they got a completely massive buff in the last patch. The only thing that is stupid is the panzerwerfer wasn't touched and is still completely useless. |
It is not Zeroing Arty, it is the Scavenge doctrine artillery. Without the ammunition starving, okw can easily break 800+ in the end game, and one shoot bases using this ability 
That must be it, we played two of them and yea they had that doctrine.
The thing is it wasn't even "end game" it was fifteen minutes into the match and our bases were obliterated. |
Zeroing Artillery does nothing to any base unless you have your units kissing your buildings.
Uh you have no idea what the hell your talking about. It actually does completely destroy your base and you can test it on a US base anytime if you don't believe me. |

Yea it's called you rush a tank into their base, then click a button and the game is over.
If you are USA your base is instantly leveled and their is absolutely fuck all you can do about it. This is bullshit and shouldn't be able to be called in on a base sector. |

Just played a team match where an OKW player drove a panzer into our base, then both of them used an arty call in which completely obliterated both my allies base and mine.
The game was over.
WTF is this shit?

Okay holy molly.
Katyushas in team games are now almost as game breaking as werfers.
The last 4 V 4 I amassed over 120 kills with them. I had 3 trucks constantly firing and once they hit vet 3, which happens almost instantly now, I think they fire every 30s?
Seriously one salvo will now usually completely obliterate 1 - 2 squads, having 2 fire will erase whatever infantry happen to be standing on the point. I even managed to perma stun a jagdtiger until it was taken out by my allies AT guns. They also just completely wreck OKW trucks with the double damage buff and massive AOE increase. Your opponent built his Flak truck near a fuel point? No problem! 3 barrages will erase it from the map.
Don't get me wrong I am now in love with the new meta game, but I feel like this may have been a giant step back from the whole "we don't want insta gib arty anymore".
Plus LOL at the panzerwerfer, it is a piece of shit in comparison now. Katyusha for president! |
