Who cares about price. Give T-34 armor, firepower and speed from Panther and Panther price and tech requirements. SU players need a tank, not a one-off anti-tank grenade. If i need cheap tank i build T-70. T-34-76 like T4 unit is just ridiculous.
Depends on tier costs.
If it would be something like
T1 - 50FU
T2 - 50FU
T3 - 60FU
T4 - 70FU
then timing is decreased only for 10 fuel in comparsion to what it is in current patch.
It T-34 price would be reduced for 10 fuel to compensate, it would be in great spot. |
"Normal Grens" bulletins DO work for Assault grens but Assault gens bulletins DONT work for normal grens.

Before latest patch, there were cheesee tactics that people were tempted to use because they were making things easier for you (less micro for instance). Besides these tactics there were others, harder to use, but effective nontheless.
After latest patch, when OKW was nerfed, the cheesee tactics remain the only ones viable, if you want to win, of course. Anything else you do, you are next to dead. So now, these cheesee tactics are not only easier, but necessary, and they are still failing in almost 50% of cases.
Kinda reminds me situation with Soviets throughout all patches since March, don't you agree?
Though I'm not saying that it is good or justified by Soviet having same poor choices in current meta. |
I frequently getting Con's AT nade bounced off by Panther's/Command Panther's rear armor. A CLEAR rear armor hit.
I checked that Panther's rear armor is 110. Can someone tell me what Con's AT nade penetration? |
This discussion is kinda pointless because of incoming patch.
I doubt that something will changed in T-34 performance. Timing will be changed certainly.
Anyway, we have to wait new patch and 1 month after it for meta to settle down.

The high losses of the t-34 can be explained due to many reasons. And while it's individual performance might be one of them, it is definately not a major reason.
And the main reason is Panzerfaust. |
In order to make T-34 and alternative to call-ins, while not overbuffing its AT performance and frequency of one-shots of 4-man squads, its MGs should be buffed. They will provide steady DPS, which is fine for generalist tank and doesn't contradicts "unit preservation" concept.

At the moment I feel like Volks are just kinda there without a real purpose besides meat shield/panzerschreck mule in the OKW lineup.
Isn't that a "real purpose" by itself?
1. All Volks will be equipped with MP44's on semi auto at the start of the game, replacing their 98k's. This makes them similar to USF rifles, but the smaller caliber of the 44 will give them less DPS, allowing rifles to still win at every range.
Assgrens are crap (generally) even without muni upgrades. What makes you think that volks with SMG would be better?
Does OKW lacks close range DPS?
2. The first truck emplaced will unlock the panzerschreck and a squad-level or global upgrade (not sure what either variant would cost yet) that allows the MP44's to go to 4-5 round bursts for volks without shrecks ONLY. Volks with shreck receive an AT grenade snare ability.
Armor units that they face are easily penetrated by both snare and schrek (unlike USF riflenade and zooks).
Don't you think that both snare and schrek on same squad would be OP at worst and against combined arms approach at best?
3. The Panzer HQ unlocks the ability for burst fire volks to go full auto (again not sure if it should be global or squad based or the price) and the shreck volks receive the ability to purchase another shreck at a reduced price (~60 muni maybe?).
Same thing, but double schrek on 5 ppl squad?

Super glue costs 15? Munitions while a teller mine costs 60.
The price difference between button smoke is 10 and any good player will attack ground when a nearly destroyed tank escapes button with smoke. And since you float regularly a lot of munitions whining about 10 munitions difference seems rather BabyRage.
Button is not useless. Especially against tanks that don't have smoke which is by far the majority

I'm talking about how it is hard to execute a good Button and how easily vehicle can escape it using smoke. The fact that it is cheaper is just another dumb addition. |
