Thread: Faction Imbalance8 Aug 2014, 15:59 PM Don't know what people here are discussing. The balance in coh2 is and was always very questionable because of the rng factor. The factions are assymetrical that makes it hard to balance the factions, with the new factions it's even harder now. And yes the usf are strong in the early game and yes they are weak in the lategame, and there's always something to comlain about. And if some ally only player thinks that the okw is a blob only faction is wrong. It's not the game which desides if a faction is good for blobbing it is the player playing the faction. But if i remember correct this thread is about the faction imbalance in the auto-search function. Well it's been like this even in coh1 the germans were always more played than the allies, it seems the playstyle of the axis is more attractive than the playstyle of the allies. In: COH2 Balance

Wy the Volks should get so much power against a special unit in close combat?? Thats simply not balanced. If you are a skilled player and if you know what to do with shocks the grenades should not be a problem for you. If the enemy has the prediction skill to throw those nades into your way he deserves the damage he does with them. It seems to me like you lack the skill to watch the very obvious motion of the volks or you can't handle your shocks or guards right, otherwise you wouldn't complain about those grenades which have a high damage potential but not against a skilled player. Watch your enemys units motions and you'll have no problems with them. And why shouldn't have volks a ability to do damage to elite units? Coh2 is no game like aoe with units that do nothing against the lategame units. And if we compare volks to conscripts you will notice that cosnscripts have much more anti infantry power and upgrades than volks and they cost only 5 mp more. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Infiltration grenades working as intended?6 Aug 2014, 17:20 PM The infiltration grenades have a high potential to do a lot of damage to the enemy. But they are no guarantee to wipe an entire squad, they have a high rng factor. They have a long cooldown and sometimes nothing happens to the enemy. They are especially strong versus blobs and if you are blobbing it's just fair to loose some units to those grenades. I think the idea behind those nades was to give the volsgrenadiers some offencive power, because unlike other units volks have no anti infantry damage upgrade. And if you fail to dodge those very obvious grenades it's not a matter of op or not it's a matter of skill and paying attention to your units. And if you think they are able to destroy shocks in close combat you should know that shocks destroy volks in close combat within 5 seconds. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Easy Eight28 Jul 2014, 07:48 AM The main Problem with the e8 atm is that it is cheap,you don't need to tec for it, it's fast, has a higher armor than the normal sherman, a high rof, and good penetration. I had some games the last week where we didn't loose because the enemy was better. He just waited until lategame, build fuel caches and spammed the shit out of this unit, which ended in 15 e8 in a 3v3. The main problem is that coh2 isn't about skill and rng anymore it's just about mass and the e8 fits in this mass very well. In: COH2 Balance
