It would fix a lot of issues. 1) It does matter if 1v1 is well balanced 2) A statistical experiment such as this does not in any way prove how or why the statistics are the way they are, but simply that there is a discrepancy of wins between the factions. This is not the thread to discuss what is causing the problems but rather discussing the results which is: there is irrefutable evidence pointing that above 1v1 Axis win more, and that there is a correlation which means these statistical results do matter and are not a random result. Legends also talks about why the numbers are trustworthy in his original thread on the official coh board. With OZ making that kind of a comment, there is no need for him to even look at the spread sheets, Statistics is clearly above him In: COH2 Balance

I think the wins per number of games is a better representation than win ratios, as win ratios has to do with the total number of games per player (which can vary quite a bit). I think the next step would be to take a random sample of games in the top 200 and do a Gaussian distribution for each faction. Props to Legends In: COH2 Balance

It is difficult to find in this current balance. It is really easy to pick out when a player looses to himself rather than his opponent, and people do not want to watch that. On top of that, People also do not want to watch some one micro their heart out and still loose to lazy play just because the balance is flawed. In: COH2 Gameplay

Cautious Movement makes the tank move much slower than normally, but it becomes completely invisible to enemies unless they are close to it. I'm not sure if it hides the engine noises or not, I'd have to go check on that. For the Luchs, this makes it effective as a Reconnaissance vehicle, as it was intended IRL, because you can creep up on your enemy's flanks or defenses without being seen. For the Jagdpanzer IV, it it's great for ambushing enemy tanks, at higher Vet levels I believe it also gets an ambush bonus that does extra damage. Thread: Remember when21 Nov 2014, 01:16 AM Remember when Opel fuel trucks and Stuka strafe runs killed everything? engineers highhandedly beating Pioneers SU-76 didnt suck (oh wait, I dont remember that. Its always been terrible!) T34s were so god awful that T3 was never made except to do a 4 minute T70 rush 1 CP guards and shocks when all heavy armor was never made and was terrible when flame half track killed everything and was the most terrifying thing that existed In: COH2 Gameplay

Which is a shame because it is the only way to get some early artillery without wasting 80 fuel on captain tech. It amazes me how Relic has been able to design a unit so terrible. There are 4 other mortars in this game, one of which is actually another mortar halftrack. With so many different units to go by, it baffles me how they could mess up the numbers on the USF mortar halftrack that much. What really baffles me is how the su76 has been ignored since release In: COH2 Balance

That was before the October and November patches. Chances are they are skewed even more in allies favor. what?? go look at the win loss statistics thread from a little bit ago with the win loss ratios of the top 200 players were mapped out.
