Is it possible to tie their RA to their ambush? Have them squishy as can be except for the time they are ambushing (or in cover) so they are not attack move death balls but still bloody magnificent ambush infantry?

In late game there are so many craters that it will not make much of difference.

They wouldn't be good for prolonged combat that way. The ambush doesn't last very long and it'd still be a huge hit to their teamgame blobbing potential without really nerfing how they're supposed to be used.

thats my thinking. they will be monsters they way they are supposed to be used, and still monsters in assaults but less so. could change valliant assault to an RA buff instead of accuracy and they they can still be used to assault outright but at a cost.

Rather willing to bet that Falls will win vs Paras with no upgrades 100% of the time.
Versus Thompson Paras, I'm also willing to bet they'll lose at close range and beat them at long, and vice versa although by a slimmer margin, versus LMG Paras.
Versus AT (Recon Support) Paras you should win at all ranges.

What are USF Paras?
Vanilla Paras - 360 MP / 350 MP 80 MU - Basically Penals without a satchel charge
Thompson Paras - 360 MP 90 MU - CQC unit
LMG Paras - 360 MP 120 MU / 350 MP 200 MU - Long Range DPS unit
AT (Recon Support) Paras - 350 180 MU - Stealth AT unit

Versus Falls which are presently and bafflingly a generalist unit (with camo???), and cheaper. It's really no surprise that Falls should lose in CQC versus Thompson Paras and at long range versus LMG Paras, given those units are supposed to excel at their given ranges, and require good payment to do so. WAD...

You better check your numbers again because Paras have more DPS bellow range 20 (up to almost double at close range), smaller target size, grenades, reinforce in beacons and timed charges.

I was making the comparison on the basis of the roles of each particular unit variation. If you would like to offer a different comparison, be my guest.

Also, when did paras got elite camo, ambush bonus, 2 types of nades+faust, weapons effective at all distances and global buff of 25% additional DPS for time period?

If you're defending falls against overnerfs that's one thing. But the fact that there are people defending them against ANY nerfs is absolutely ridiculous

Paras should beat them. Cost more by default AND to upgrade, AND they don't have a snare. Not sure why we're talking about that....

exactly this. Fallies have their strongness in suprise the enemy...

thats why it is like it is: has first strike bonus and less dmg than paras.
Whats ur argue?
paras beat them because has no than AI. but once again..if someone cry because 3(!) fallies beat a alone half health squad in no time..u should learn to calc.

coh2 stats and calc. And you can test it in cheat mode...paras beat everytime fallis...even with 4models left.

Falls should not have bundlenade since their DPS is good at all range unlike ... commandos (doubrens commandos Kappa).
