Damage reduction for Grens
Are you fucking kidding me? Are grenades just supposed to be fucking worthless versus grens now?
Jesus Christ, reduce their reinforcememt time and cost at vet 3 if you want, but this damage reduction nonsense, especially after we literally just got done removing it from Rangers, and right after all the indirect fire nerfs to USF and Soviets.
Why would anyone think this is a good idea? I mean, its a four man squad nondoc, sure. It's also 240mp.
It is the core mainline infantry unit of the faction, with only 4 models, that gets wiped way too easily.

then what is ur argument? that green should be weaker vs explosive weapon than all other main line ?
What is your argument? That grens should be stronger versus aoe weapons than any other mainline? That gren models, uniquely, should be able to tank point-blank frag grenades and shrug off aoe weapons that would have otherwise killed them in a single shot?
Isn't this exactly why rangers lost theirs?
Man, if all this bitching is so utterly impossible to satisfy without implementing such a retarded buff why don't we just make grens volksgrenadiers. Nerf the damage on their rifles to 12 and add a 5th man. There you go.

These slight adjustments for Ostheer abilities are great, but can USF be given some love too? They have similar lackluster abilities, simply because their pricing or timing are off.i do agree with those changes but when was the last time u saw mobile defence

And those Grens have the ability to get wiped in one shot by a lucky Sherman round. And if they're even slightly below 90 % health, even a stray mortar round is going to wipe them in yellow cover. This change has long been overdue.

Nonsense they desperately needs this, as they get wiped so freaking easily with their 4 model squads.

As it is right now, every ostheer players is getting needlessly punished for just playing the faction and using its core mainline infantry unit with 4 models that get wiped by every sneeze and breeze out there

If the solution is to LMG Grens vulnerability to indirect fire is to just get a substandard upgrade and force OST into a subset of their doctrines, then thats bad design.
And BTW Counterbattery isnt a very good (on Gwr34).

The tigers have far AOE damage from .1 to 1.75.... is that a typo or is it really getting a 17x boost and also beyond close AOE damage?

.... u could add a model at vet 3 and remove the ra and accuracy bonus at vet 3, if u think damage reduction is op (although damage reduction is actually worse than 1 more man)

Any Gren that eats a mortar round or grenade is still going to have a bad time.
Any gren that eats a 80*0.8 mortar round or grenade is still going to tank between 2-3 direct hit rifle rounds, and all at the single model level (and assuming the shots land)
What does this even have to do with Grens?
