This unit is under performing in my opinion. With a slow turret traverse. And long reload, I feel that the unit isn't able to pack a punch it should. I propose a decrease in reload timing, And increase turret traverse after its been stationary for like 3 seconds. But while moving, it will go back to its current state. What yall think? A second or 1.5 decrease or something?

Oh and no I don't own brits and I haven't even played them. But my views and opinions are when facing it..

with 2 firefly's and some ammo you can kill a KT in one volly( 200 ammo) I managed to do it in one game ( it got away with 1% health deathcrit maingun destroyed, did they not remove that? :foreveralone: )

Sounds like a cool buff, but some small nerf to tulip should accompany it.

sounds like a great idea but I don't think they'd implement it... too many other things to take care of. But i do think it does it's role pretty well... it pretty much always penetrates and never misses? super strong at Vet 3

A symbol such as the one that pops up with the command p4 will appear over it after 3 seconds implementing the temporary buffs it will get until it moves again.

Tulips damage will be nerfed, with the price to compisate for it.

They should just make it fire more quickly at close range so it can engage in tank fighting instead of running away from every fight.

Firefly rate of fire can only go up if the Tulips are significantly nerfed. The current alpha damage the tank offers is quite high.

I generally really like the Firefly. I just find it dumb that JT and Elephants, which are designed to be flanked, cannot be flanked by the TD available to the Brits.

Tulips were a bad idea anyway, just Relic's habit of making their latest pet project flashy and overpowered, like OKW was with their fortress tanks and ubermensch.

Whaaath?!?!? Panther killing fast is not fast enough? those things are either running away (no munitions) or have habit to rush from no where like t-34 on a side of a stug/panther surrounding it fire and explosions.

Still when i use it its works like Imco. Lights up every time from every spark.

Agree with most of the others, nerf the tulips, but make the cannon reliable.

I am sorry but i have to disagree here, for 155 fuel this unit can preforme pretty well and does a lot of alpha dmg and can wipe a tank with its tulips :thumb:

Well, everyone else on the thread agrees that's why they want to nerf tulips. I agree that when it works, it works really well! so maybe an in between as others suggest? nerf tulips and increase turret rotation? reload?

Doesn't firefly do 240 or 260 damage per shot? If you want to buff ROF you have to nerf the damage.

Two fireflies stop almost anything. I think they preform very well. It would be nice for faster reload but with VET, maybe bringing reload down to 5-6 at vet3? idk the exact stats. This vehicle is a sniper tank, not a brawler. You wont be chasing or really finishing off any tanks with it. But you will lock down a zone with these.

Two can handle almost anything expect jagdtiger and elefant. You need to use rockets against those.

Simply put the problem with the Firefly is that it relies on spending a ton of munitions to achieve much of anything. Off hand I believe the base DPS is lower than any of the other late game TDs.

thats might be a better way because you don't have always to go tulips and get a better "basic" tank :)

200 dmg per shot. 280 on vet 3. Tulips do 240 dmg per rocket. Hence you can do 680 alpha dmg if you wish. Two of those manage to one shot tigers, Elefants etc.
