Bring back random choice

I'm talking about the faction choice, you can no longer choose "random" but are fixed to a certain faction.

Personally I don't really care which faction I am, and would much rather have a faster match found which surely this function would achieve?

+1! Reading your post I just realized how much I miss this. I want to improve as German and Russian, also I hope this to limit the waiting time quite a bit.

Yes, please, bring it back. I hate how CoH 2 is missing so many features from vCoH. This is a sequel - it shouldn't take so many steps backwards!

Oh and to elaborate a bit: I don't mind varying which nation I play but often I'll join as Germany and then there is like a 70-30 Ger-Sov split. Then I'd cancel and switch to Soviet just so a minute later it swings around to 25-75 Ger-Sov... whenever I'm canceling, I'm being put to the end of the queue and that sucks

And no, there are not just 8 or so players in the pool so the oscillations must come from one of those:
-many people switch and the system updates too slow
-some people leave the queue after not finding a match for a while (they were more popular faction)
-some people had signed up, saw that the split would mean they had to wait a bit and decided to play campaign or w/e instead.

My work-around currently is simply queue for the least played faction, so you get games faster.

aerafield: @LimaOscarMike I would say nowadays is a decent time to try CoH3. If you loved CoH2 however, there is a solid chance you're gonna dislike CoH3
