HelpingHans and many other top ranked players end up picking Jagdtiger in 1v1s as well despite the nerf, because are simply no counters against ISU past 30 minute mark when Soviets have 300+ munitions to spam mines
I really hate argumentum ab auctoritate but I don't think you can simply put away Jagdtiger not viable for 1v1.

well jagdtiger is gonna counter the isu.. it has much better range and armor
indeed but when isu shooting u certainly know 1 enemy squad eliminated ,and when jt shooing 1or2(shoot) =not heppened isu back and repair with cons or engneer.

You are new to the concept of scatter and cost differences between armor and infantry, aren't you?

E.g. i would like to vote NO, but as '3' i.e. i think all heavy armor in COH2 needs further nerfing. Its absurd and stupid balance far in favor of Axis in all game modes.

For it's price it's too weak atm even if some allied fanboys might say something else.
Holy gardening pudding... Tell me, how units with 40-70 range can stun unit with 85 range? And this stun is not stunnig really. It stuns for 0,5s?
Recently I caught alone JT with my Jackson at Lienne Forest behind this huge building that looks like train station. 3 shots, maybe one DVD damage, rest make stun BUT during this "stuns" JT still was able to reverse behind fuel Point, close to first bunker or flak. So this stun thing is not very punishing if in fact you can move.

I guess you are talking about the SU-76. The SU-85 can take 1 hit from a JT.

one had 3/4 health the other was full health ... last game I played so I should have the replay still. Once I get home if I remember I'll add some screen shots.
Edit ... that is what it look like ... could have been multiple hits from other enemy. I'll review it for sure.

Seems weird: coh2-stats says the JT gun does 320 dmg, and SU85 has 640 HP.

The Jagdtiger has received some well-deserved changes. So what does everyone think? Can I finally archive its card or does it need further teaking?
It doesn't make sense anymore to go for breakthrough and get a Jagdtiger in many games anymore for many reasons.
This this change, Jagdtiger is now just an Elefant with some noticeable differences. It is super slow, and get stunned easily. It is much more expensive than an elefant (note that 290 fuel for OKW means a lot more in comparison with other factions), It's unlocked very late, etc.
Also, with choosing breakthrough you won't get access to many other units or abilities OKW can have with other commanders OKW can have. People choose breakthrough for JT we all know that, otherwise other commanders such as Fortification, Luftwaffe, or Scavenge give you access to better units or abilities.
All in all, I don't see any reason why one would go for JT anymore (well in most cases and maps), and you can use that 290 fuel on something else and get significantly better results.
Shooting through blockers was the biggest thing it had and now it's an absolute rubbish for this price, that's for sure!!!
not to mention it can be destroyed easily on spot by B4.
Considering all these breakthrough doctrine is now totally rubbish and the panzer jager commander of Wehr is way way way way way better. You have a better tank destroyer (elefant) considering the price, and you have stuka bombing and recon to counter B4.

290 for OKW (no conversion) is the time equivalent of 435 for USF/Sov/Ostheer

i still see the jagdtiger a lot in 4v4. Perhaps it hasn't lost its popularity in that mode (although, it is easier to now)
of course how else are you going to tackle the isu 152.

And you must be new to the concept of repairs beeing free while losing whole squads or at least several models is not free to reinforce?
