I started as a roll player D&D and warhammer then a table top gamer ... mainly historical (Seven years war, Napoleonic, ancients, WWII via flames of war) then a high elf army & Skaven for Warhammer.
Never got into 40K ... just a future version of warhammer but I read a fair bit about it.
