The American M2HB HMG

Yet, i feel like if this HMG performs rather poorly for its price, it feels like if it has lower damage output than the Dshk and maybe even the Maxim, but the fire-cone is good and Its suppression seems decent as well.
In my opinion the MG34 is a better "HMG" and it comes in at 210 MP... the only thing the M2HB has over it is light vehicle damage, but i dont buy an HMG because i wanna kill an Sdkdz 222 or a halftrack, i buy it because i wanna defend an area from infantry attacks.
So all in all, i think that the M2HB should be tuned up a bit or have its price reduced a bit, i dont think it peforms like a 270 MP HMG.

Well, its certainly miles and heaps better then DSHK for the price.Considering its fire-cone i fully agree, but talking pure damage output and suppression capabilities i think its somewhat lacking.
Anyways, what do you think about the M2HB and its current price (not to mention that it comes in later than the MG34 as an example)

the 50 cal peaks out at the highest dps of all mgs. its time to pin and suppress are better than the german mgs. it also has the best splash suppression at near and far ranges (germans mgs excel at mid range).
it also has the fastest reload time of any mg, making it the best in buildings.

I'd get it over DSHK any day and its still better then maxim due to cone and actual damage. Not sure about its AoE suppression, never bothered to check it.

Well, once flanked its 100% dead because of crew size(4 men with 25% received accuracy penalty against weapons designed to kill 5-6 men squads) and lack of MG42/34 teleporting capability, but weapon in itself performs fine.

AoE suppression is amazing!

I've no qualms with the M2HB except for its rather bland fire sound. Am I shooting a heavy machine gun or a muffled sump pump?
haha, totally agree. It sounds so limp dick it's pathetic. the mah deuce is supposed to be a beast, but the same goes for a lot of weapons that sound so sad.
It needs that received accuracy penalty removed. I usually regret building it and never see anyone else use it much either.

The MG34 is over performing at 210mp, if the MG34 was to be kept in its current state, it needs to be at the very least, equaled to the price of .50cal weapon teams at 270mp. They're better than MG42 in their current state, but I'm sure most know this.

Translation: Remove every Advantage from the US Player.
How the hell did you come to that conclusion?
There are serious language barriers or reading comprehension issues here I think.

With AP rounds the MG34 is a very effective light vehicle counter(it can kill easily), where as the Browning is just slightly more effective than other small arms fire.
While being more effective at supressing, killing vehicles(post vet 1), and having bettter survivability(based on faction DPS) i believe this makes the MG34 the the better unit...for 70 manpower less.
M2s only advantage is higher base dps but machine guns aren't usually relied upon for their damage, its the 3 factors above that are most important for performance in my opinion
btw -> M2 costs 280 manpower from tier 2
(i compare it to the 34 because i use them the most often of any mgs)

I think the 50.cal could do with a price change to 240 in it current state, the currect price doesnt feel like its justified as its not really better than a mg42 which is cheaper.
