I probably have the completely wrong end of the stick with this but I saw the two new soviet commanders 'not one step back' and 'tank hunter' and assumed these were new commanders that could drop at least from what I had been told although I hadn't heard of anyone getting them.

I assumed they would be added in as DLC with the new USF and OKW factions but as far as I can see they have not been, so are they not in the game yet or are they only drops?

They're probably waiting to test them further?

Also: Considering we haven't heard of any new Ost commanders, they're probably creating 2 and will release 2 ost and 2 sov commanders at the same time.

Ost has been ignored for quite a bit :(

There is definitely one new ost commander. It was revealed in one of their streams.

"We" haven't heard, or you haven't heard of Wehr new commander?

Encirclement commander was used on recent relic stream last week.

Would you mind enlightening the rest of us about this commander ? I think a lot of Wehrmacht players are in dire need for something new :)

5 men squad with double flamer, mp40 and satchel charges, adds sprint to all infantry, including MG42 and mortar crewes.

There, feel teased :P

pretty bad video thats just trying to make things seem imbalanced

1. shocks do almost no damage at mid range. a pio with a flamer couldve won that fight.

2. sprint (oorah) and stuka seem great when you have unlimited munitions

3. capping points with tanks. oh boy. sounds like a shitty vet ability

4. he sat in an unconnected territory with 14 squads for an entire minute. show the same situation with sector arty. and itll take half the time

Well, what did you expected from someone who made "tests" showing how panther "underperforms" like this:

He is a known hardcore german fanboy on official forums, which is weird why he made german commander vid like that.

Dude, those commanders are not even in live, those videos are almost a year old and were mead in a breach to the non disclosure rules back then. Why do we discuss this?

Once new commanders go in you'll probably hear about it. :p

They were in multiple streams. I think the one yesterday explains a lot. Not sure if we can discuss this outside of the stream as it might be considered a breach of NDA :/
Look if Brad made a highlight out of it / captured it or ask people who watched :)

What NDA? Did you sign something before watching the stream?

I'd suggest you subscribe Brads channel ( http://www.twitch.tv/breakingbrad__ ). It seems that Relic intends to give people a better insight into how the balancing gets done. Brad streamed a few games so far. For example yesterday we played 2 2v2s to evaluate those doctrines (as they were literally untouched for ages) and discussed a bit of balance afterwards.

I'm not sure if I really can say any details since we had to sign a NDA to not speak about such stuff unless Relic allows it. The latter is obviously true if they stream it, but maybe not afterwards. Once again, I'd suggest you to watch that channel if you can. I know, it's Brad, but hey: BE A MAN!
