This is also quite accurate representation of how bad german only players see the balance :P

T34/85 made rol of P4. Before German players made many Ostwich and P4. Sov are now at the same level, they can do many competent tanks.

The Tiger tank still does pretty well against 2 x T-34/85.

P4's can be improved during mid game with 1 shreck squad. They also still have their advantage of 3rd MG and higher rate of fire.

Pretty cool. Are there any russian movies about WW2 actually worth watching?

Well at least they got the model of tanks right... for once... of course the story of the 28 is yet another example of Soviet propaganda spin...

While that looks cool I was hoping for a suggestion that is actually available.

Fortress of war is pretty good. But don't expect any Soviet war film that doesn't portray all Germans as monstrous beasts...

'The Brest Fortress' is very good, and the whole movie is uploaded on youtube.

That Tiger though. If you can't replicate it, just CGI it.

Plenty plenty of movies.
I'm not sure if they are available in English.
It is great to be bilingual!

Wrong.

"Franz + Polina" is a great example. Again, not sure if this is available in English.
Or "Four days in May".

That T34 bouncing a shot off its side armor from a tiger at 50 yards is pretty funny.

I'd like to know if there's any movies about the Eastern Front that aren't 30 years old / low budget / propaganda foil.

'Russian' propaganda, about men defending their country from the Nazis? Get real..

The problem here is that the Germans were horrifically brutal in the USSR.
