Ntd, when football players (the ones with the ball), fall they mostly get a penalty (which can give them a goal). So they have EVERY reason to fall like gays.

Having grown up in the States with plenty of American sports affinities, I never really adopted a football club after moving to Europe. Hertha Berlin is not the most like-able club and Bayern is like the German version of the Yankees (big payrolls, blech). I do root for them in the UEFA League tho.
I get into Football the most during the Euro Cups and World Cups, where I root for the German, Italian, and even the American national teams (the 3 countries where I've lived). And some for the Brits too, because the Premiere League has great stories and personalities. The only footie match I've seen in the UK was the Hearts of Midlothian playing on their tiny home pitch in Scotland. Was an absolutely fantastic experience! Sat next to the two loudest and most boistrous 10-year old fans, fully decked in club scarfs and gear head-to-toe. They constantly cracked me up with the stuff they would say, and how they'd berate their own squad members by name when they would blunder. Great stuff.
