If Tigers are balanced without Blitz, they do not "need" to be compensated by some other ability or stat increase. 2: Stop derailing the thread about other balance problems. We can talk about fixing one balance problem without having to solve every other balance problem at the same time. Two wrongs does not make a right. Grenades too. Shooting it with riflemen is obviously not going to work amazingly well though. By the time you get tanks it will be well supported and you will have no chance to get near it. US does not get flamers except doctrinal. A nice flank with grenades should be its #1 early game counter. Problem is it seems to pack up and move way faster than other mortars, making it easily dodge grenades. Another counter should be getting your own gun and counter barraging it, problem is the US pack gun is horrible. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: July 15th patch?15 Jul 2014, 21:31 PM They were definitely overperforming. Problem is people here expect massive changes over the line so that every change is offset by other changes. I am pretty sure if the data shows that US is too strong early game they have plans to change that as well. A nice step would be to reduce the lethality of all endgame infantry weapons such as vetted rifles with LMG, falls and obers with MG34. Currently these guys just melt everything. This would also help Axis vs US because rifle LMGs come so early. But yeah, I don't think you can expect everything to happen in the same patch... In: Lobby

The US should have trouble with them considering their strength in the early and mid game. If you are having trouble with unsupported Tigers, you need to work on your positioning and kiting. How do you intend to kite someone who does not intend to follow you? Once you're in the late game, US got no chance of winning back map control. The strong early game, weak late game is a horrible and frustrating design. It needs to go ASAP. In: COH2 Balance

The MG 34 was only meant for Obersoldaten though, having it on any other squad is broken. Rear Echelon with MG 34 will beat MG 42 Grens hands down every time. Thread: US late game12 Jul 2014, 19:17 PM Adjusting veterancy is the wrong way to fix early/late game balance. You should not be fucked if you lose squads you can not replace. I think rather the way to about it is to buff axis early game infantry but nerf their late game. Throw in a slight nerf on the US LMG too if needed. In: COH2 Balance

That's why I said I wasn't sure whether to make a balance thread or a strategy thread. All I can say is that I lose 90% of my games that goes beyond 30 minutes, I never get any games that end close by VPs--by then, my infantry will be melting left and right. And even though you say Jacksons are "god-tier", I only seem to be able to kill tanks when my opponent makes dumb mistakes like going all in. If he plays conservatively and backs out in time, you can't follow or you will surely die to inf AT. In: COH2 Balance
