I had two ideas about how to avoid blobbing. There are just WAY too much player's who just blob, no tactics, no thoughts. Just right-clicking.
1: Units within a blob receive more accuracy. Your enemy don't have to aim anymore to hit anything.
2: Units act as shotblocker like buildings, which means the Units in the back of the blob are not able to shoot.
This would affect all factions. No more Penalty blobs, no more Volks blob and no more Rifle blob
Option 1 solves everything but you've already had the typical noob 4v4 player response (NEIN, MEIN BLOB IST EAZIER TO RECHT CLICK, JA).
Anyway, all the best solutions have already been suggested 100 times. Just a question of Relic a) listening and b) actually releasing a patch. |

I think it's OP Vet bonuses that make OKW infantry so potent.
If you look at Volks prior to Vet, they are the worst stock core infantry in the game, worse even than the current grens. (no AT snare, no non-doctrinal house clearing, mediocre grenade that you can't afford to use 'cause you're saving for AT, and poor game-long AI performance at all but the very, very far ranges).
No AT snare makes them exceptionally vulnerable early game; combine that with a less-than-mediocre Raketenwerfer and you've got yourself a Clown Car BBQ Drive Through invitation.
Giving them a shrek makes them even worse vs. infantry, except it allows them to vet up so fast that they become extremely difficult to wipe.
I don't have an issue with OKW infantry that survive a 50 minute game and have dozens of kills becoming very powerful but shreks allow Volks to get Vet5 way too fast, and the benefits of that are way too big right now.
My suggestion: increase Vet requirements for Vet4 and 5 for volks + slightly nerf Vet4-5 bonuses (particularly bonuses related to survivability). |

The belief that anti-blobbing fixes would make the game unplayable is based on how you play the game.
Judging by your posts here, your own analysis is wrong: for you, it would make 100% of maps unplayable. |
90% of the game's current problems would be fixed with giving debuffs to infantry that are close to other infantry (i.e. blobs).
Give all blobbed units + 25% to suppression, + 25% to damage from explosive weapons, + 25% to received accuracy and you fixed 90% of the meta issues. (To say nothing of this being realistic).
This instantly renders MG42 better at crowd control while massively decreasing the impact of Volks + Obers / Rifles blobs.
The other 10% of fixes are making call-ins depend on tech.
Simples.

Check the scatter on the weapons, not accuracy when taking infantry into account.
P4 has a less scatter.

It's 1.0 faster, that's it. And the accuracy stats are literally the same.

Turning while moving, crushing ain't gunna work if your just spinning in place.
Always crush in an ark, tight turns at high speed.
