i have no problem letting you enjoy your victory, but it's just frustrating to play soviets in general

demos are easy wipes, combine that with the fact that they are basically impossible to dislodge at times with grenades / attack ground

snipers are well, as you should see in the replay, just flat out broken. i'm ok with the concept but seriously? with sprint it legitametly looks like they have a speedhack on

then there's the "soviet tech" rofl. soviets don't need to tech, just spam cons and use callins, that's literally all i've done and i'm like rank 20 with soviets in combining with mines / demos all over so when you attempt to take map control back you lose squads / models all the time

OKW isn't the most braindead, despite common belief, they are the 2nd best faction in the game quite a bit behind soviets. OKW early game is pathetic without sturms, which soviets can easily overrun with 5,6,7 conscript squads.

anyway i could go on and on with balance and such, but it'd be pointless, relic obviously doesn't care about the game at all. as a result i've uninstalled until they prove me wrong there, i recommend others do the same but hey, support the companies you want to support.

Yeah, I agree with a lot there. I think the fact that Soviets don't usually need to tech is silly and makes the game very 1-dimensional.

Snipers are very situational - vs. an infantry only strat where you invest all your manpower, munitions and fuel into a few high value grens/pgrens, snipers obviously work well. If you had gone a different strat, snipers probably wouldn't pay off.

Personally, I always find it interesting watching an underdog in sports but if you don't that's cool.

I also enjoy having 1-2 sniper squads. But unfortunately its suicidal to get them before 1-2 zis (which requres T2 buuilding). So to play early snipers vs OKW you need t1 and T2 buildings early. Which is imposible cuz its price.
So I dont understand why germs (at least ostheer) can get T1 and T2 for half price.

As SU I m forced to play 4 cons + some T2 units without much needed sniper. That a problem for me.
Plus engeeners are worst fighting unit in early game.

Going sniper before strong anti vehicle (bassicaly only zis or guards) looks not viable for me unfortunately. Against OKW I mean
