It would probably need its aim time reduced or a buff to the vehicle crew. TOo many buffs and it could end up OP It also misses... A LOT. Hits debris specially in urban maps too often (objects like barrels and vehicle remains). I think buffing only ready aim time and reducing misses (not the actual accuracy) would be enough. Although cover for the crew is debatable, since it has less range and should be closer to front line, I would suggest green or at least yellow cover. As for blobbing, I still think a general buff to all MGs would be great, just like before the patch which nerfed them. M2 is a joke, MG42 does 0 damage and squads can get past it, and maxim does not have enough suppression scatter. In: COH2 Balance

What do you mean by heavy soviet units? is2? you shouldn't expect the jp4 to penetrate the is2 anyway, its like throwing a pak at a KT and thinking it will penetrate. the is2 has 375 armor and the KT has 400 armor. The JP4 has the same penetration as Jackson. RNG gods hete me, but about JGPZIV I don't expect it to counter IS2 or anything, I just think that in most play styles it comes a bit late, and considering its fuel cost, low AI capabilities and being turret-less I think it needs some adjustments (like small fuel reduction). On the other hand, as far as I know it has the smallest target size and it scales kinda well late game. PS: This might be considered off-topic, but this OKW threads and stupid blobbing will stop only if there are viable AT tactics for the faction and their infantry is adjusted. In: COH2 Gameplay

Highfiveeeee's suggestion is also true, Raketen is garbage and always hits debris, and JGDPZIV is UP, comes late, expensive, misses a lot and not enough penetration to deal with heavy soviet units. Maybe it crushed a model stuck between a building or something. in Urban maps ambulance is a pain in the butt, specially when you order a medium tank to get past it and you have your major and a couple of squads nearby.
