Don't get me wrong, i have no desire to see german ubermensch terminators fighting hordes of russians armed only with sapper shovels, but gameplay>realism for the sake of the game. Losing pak entirely to volley of ptrs shots as bad as losing clumped 2-3 man squad on retreat to marksman volksgren with his trusty rocket launcher which made to destroy tanks, but, apparently, kills infantry better than rifle. Both situations extreme examples of bad game design. This. Every time someone says unit X is OP/UP, other factions' fanboys start saying "What about Y? Why what unit is blahblahblah". We can go on and on and justify balance issues by comparing OP/UP units and weapons. AT weapons sniping infantry are bad design, no matter if it's Panzerschreck or PTRS. Although, PTRS should have AI capabilities when it's used by Guards or partizans. But a change like this on you main line infantry is bad. Take a look at OKW. Why we are frustrated by SchreckBlob? Because you turn you AI core unit into laser guided tank hunters. Any drastic change to mainline infantry has the potential to break the game, because they are spammable and cheap. In: COH2 Balance

Anyone who has gotten to purchase a second heavy tank has had plenty of manpower over the course of the long game to float for a Tiger ace. If a Game goes to 15 Cp why does that mean the Ostheer player should win/get a huge advantage? They could be just as hard pressed to stay in the game as the Allies player. What you just said is that Ostheer players who go tiger ace should just be handed wins at 15 Cp of course, you have overlooked other factors my friend. MP float, reinforcement, combined arms. I mean the game is already finished by that time, and TigerAce has minimum effect. In: COH2 Balance

From 1s and 2s perspective: -Most players use fuel on their infantry, most notably HMG42 and Mortar team which is a good tactic versus USA. A vet2 HMG42 is a beast, combine that with the recent buff and you'll get them insta-pinned. This however, delays T2 so you can easily rush for light armor. Delayed T2 mean delay PAK means AAHT/T34 FTW. -Stun grenades are meh. -If-as you say-they manage to field medium armor (considering they have already spent fuel on veterancy), they are gonna have a huge MP upkeep. So the MP income is barely enough to reinforce their remaining squads (which is quit expensive) So, if you are facing an opponent who can hold his ground until 15CP, has a big army of vetted infantry and armor, still has enough MP to reinforce, and has a buttload of MP to call in the Ace, I think they deserve the win. What is the point of the T-70 if the T-34 is just as good against infantry. 30 less fuel isn't enough. I think penetration would be to nice to give it a bit more late game scaling but without breaking the balance vs Paks or P4's. Alternatively I really like the idea of nerfing the armour on all the heavies. This. Buffing the AI capabilities of T37/76 makes T70 useless. And it makes T3 even more I would still suggest penetration buff at vet3. In: COH2 Gameplay

Its a bit offending for valve or at least the team inside valve managing dota2 and all the work they are doing to make their game enjoyable. At least Valve tries on regular base to overcome those situations and patch their game asap when there is something wrong or not meeting their quality requirements, unlike Relic. Now I join you on the segmentation issue. coh2 has a primary segmentation dota2 hasn't. Factions. And from what I see many teams and random are more likely interested in playing Axis than allied. And since it took Relic around 6 months bring a first change into the 1st root cause of this situation, balance issues more evident in large tramway, we're not going to see any improvement anytime soon. But... but... the leaderboard... new faction... UGC... In: COH2 Gameplay
