The problem is when you have gone to BP2 and T3 for a medium tank, you can't handle the Allies medium tanks. Then you need to cost 100/45 + 260/75 = 360/120 to get to BP3, so it costs ostheer another 120+175=295fuel to get a panther which is so expensive.
While the new brits faction costs only 200MP/50fuel to tech up to heavy tier after they get a cromwell,then build a comet or churchill. Much cheaper than the ost.
Almost nobody will go to T4 directly skiping T3. Because it's too risky to tech up to get a panther which can only provide AT power when you need some AI power to control the map. |
Perhaps you're bad at keeping squads alive. These units have great durability.
The least member number, the most expensive cost per model, worse vet received accuracy than riflemen/cons/IS.

Umm yea? Late game Grens can handle Riflemen, IS and Cons pretty well.

The 5 men Infantry sections and Riflemen both can get dual LMGs/BARs.While the 4 men Grenedier can get only one LMG upgrade. Not to mention 1 gren model cost 30MP which is the most expensive. Also the receive accuracy is worse than infantry sections and Riflemen.
So how the Grens handle Riflemen or IS? We must not be playing the same game. Grenediers always suffer from heavier casualties in late game compared to other basic infantry. And Grens always lose to late game IS or Riflemen. |
Air superiority OBVIOUSLY shouldn't wipe full hp okw trucks, that's just bad for design, BUT it should actually wipe medium tanks, troops and static defenses, unlike the preview version, which has a chance to wipe tanks and infantry. It's a big chance, but it still isn't certain. I think everybody had this game on Crossing (well, pretty much every game on Crossing) where double OKW just turtle 2 VPs behind 2 flaktrucks protected by a shitton of ISGs, puppchens and panthers, killing all attempts at breakthroughs, indirect fire or combined arms. Air Superiority is the British way of breaking that stalemate, and the schwerers will most likely be destroyed in the following assault. There's the subtle difference between simply wiping full hp trucks or scaring off/killing their defences to assault them with troops, and right now, Air Superiority does neither.
If you have damaged engine heavy tanks in the area, this ability will probably wipe them out... |
I heard people tell me the bomber planes should be able to be countered by aa OKW emplacements and Schwere Panzer HQ.

I remember this ability to be an old Axis ability first. It was removed due to people complaining that is was OP and biased towards Axis. Now that it is back, but in Allied hands, it suddenly is justified by an enormous muni cost. People make no sense to me, the ability should not wipe full health OKW trucks, things like this shouldn't even be in the game. The most offending thing is that the ability can be called in upon base sectors as well, annihilating OKW trucks in base sector as well.
I ask of you, how much fun would it be for you if 10 Luftwaffe planes come flying into your Soviet base and destroy your T4 and T3 or either one, needing you to spend another 120-200 something fuel on teching, again. For OKW this means, waiting for another truck to be deployed and placing it again. This is a huge penalty for a fuel starved faction.
Why they decided to return the ability, is beyond me.

The new faction should be in line with vanillas.If AS is ok, the ostheer Railway Artillery ability could use a buff of increasing the number of shells to 10 because currently it cost 200 munitions but do nothing at all! |
They'll do significantly less damage next patch. Two of them will still work though.

Considering Ost have a very expensive T4 tech cost, but nothing rewards, would it be ok if giving a grenadier 5-men squard upgrade after BP3 tech? It will give grenadier a better late game durability, also make the BP3 more interesting. |
Currently molotov and incendiary grenade do too many damage to bunkers and fighting position. Molotov can almost one shot a bunker, incendiary grenade can one shot a US fighting position. I dunno if it's ok but maybe it's too easy since they only cost 15 and 30 munitions.
So is Relic going to change anything to flame weapons in the upcoming patch? |
Just simply compare this unit with shocktroops,it's fucking too effective like many other brits units and abilities. |
