I feel like Relic made 2 major mistakes just before they released WFA.
1. Moved Panzerschrecks to Volksgrenadiers
2. Swapped the M15 and 57mm AT Gun.
Things would be so much better if these two mistakes were reverted.
Also, I wouldn't even care if Sturmpioneers could put away the Panzerschreck, not getting the uber-repair bonus and only having one 'schreck is a fair enough tradeoff imo. |
Personally I think it'd be funny if Assault Grenadiers got Volksgrenadier VA and Model. Their loadout and effectiveness certainly makes them seem like Volksgrenadiers. |
I would also like the USF M2 HMG to use the same sound as all the vehicle M2 HMG's. Not only does it have way more punch making it easier to identify, but it's consistant with all the other weapons. Off the top of my head, the only other weapon with inconsistent sound is the Sniper Mosin-Nagant, and that one has an excuse. |
If Relic actually does bring the US Rangers into multiplayer down the road, then they better put effort into it and by that I mean get a new voice actor instead of using the VA of existing units. In CoH1, each and every unit had different voices, lines and etc but in CoH2, a number of units all use the same VA and in some cases, have the same exact skin despite the units are supposed to be "new" units or different.
They use the same voice as Vehicle Crews, and I don't see the problem. Not only do Vehicle Crews have an unusually gruff voice, but you won't hear the majority of their voice lines anyway because they the vast majority of their time in vehicles or entering them. |

The loud as garden gunshot bug sound that randomly plays is pretty realistic at making ears ring like a real gunshot. A+ Oh is the eardrum exploding gunshot only a problem with high settings? I never knew that. Still, unit voices sound so much better I'd rather put up with it.
This is actually a noise generated by an engine error. Last I checked, Relic had no idea what caused the sound or how to get rid of it. The world of programming, isn't it amazing? |
this is a little strong as me and my bro were testing it. sov t3 AA will not kill this faster then it will die 17/19 times.
Soviet T3 AA is a Half-Track with 4 Machineguns on it, not that impressive. It's still the strongest Half-Track in the game, but it's nothing overly amazing. Besides, USF Rocket Strafe will kill either a Flak Half-Track or a Flak Panzer without much issue. And the Flak Panzer is actually a tank, unlike the M5 Half-Track. |
I agree with a lot of what has been said lately. Rather than nerf Panzerschrecks, make the penetration standard at all ranges for HEAT weapons and lower the accuracy so that it's very high at short range, but very low at max range.
I also cannot agree enough with taking Panzerschrecks off Volksgrenadiers. I don't care what happens to them, whether they're moved to Sturmpioneers or introduced on a new Tank Hunter unit, anything else is better. Volksgrenadiers could instead get an upgrade for some (mediocre) StG's, which would also unlock Panzerfaust. Also buff the Raketenwerfer, that thing is useless. |

If you make the ability increase penetration it becomes fairly pointless if you either flank a tank or when you are fighting a relitively low armor target like a p4. Panthers from behind only have 110 armor as well
Except on Heavy Tanks which can and often do bounce shots from medium tanks even on the rear. A T-34/76 genuinely struggles to penetrate a King Tiger from behind at point blank. |
