Oh I misunderstood what you meant. I agree though, obervolk blobs > combined arms. Your tanks get shredded by mass Panzerschrecks and your infantry get shreaded by mass rifles + Ober LMG's. The blob will inflict more losses on you than it takes before it's forced to retreat. And Thanks to 5 levels of veterancy, smashing a blob face-first into your defenses only makes them stronger, until finally it does break through. |

I watched the replay, specifically the part mentioned, very closely. It did indeed happen, the satchel lights up like it's being used, but the soldier pulls out an Anti-Tank Grenade. Also interesting to note that I kept an eye on the munitions counter, and the AI was charged 25 munitions (AT Grenade) rather than 45 (Satchel Charge).
But since it was the AI, I don't think this is a problem. I wasn't able to recreate the bug myself even with an all-conscript Penal squad. Seems like it was just a fluke with the AI player. |
I wouldn't even call it combined arms, it's just a blob of Volks and Obers, that cannot be directly countered by tanks or infantry.
The only decent way to fix it would be huge penalties for blobbing, or remove Panzerschrecks from Volks. |
I wonder what decals will be dropped, maybe USF will get a 'blank' Decal that replaces the Star with an empty space. |
Slightly better armour, the Panzer IV Ausf. F2 and up had a better gun though, until the 85 models came out. After the Panzer IV Ausf. H and the T-34/85, it didn't matter so much and depended more on crew skill and who shot first. |
IDK if this is new or not, but you can sort the bulletins and skins according to unit type. I think it's new. Either way, I like it
Yeah that's new, I know because I was looking for something like that before but didn't find it.
They are adding something new to warspoils. If you look on the main menu at the loadout you can see a new slot next to victory strike, and if you filter by it you can see there is a gap in the filter categories screen where something new would go.
If you look, there's a new tab that says "Decals". If you hover over it for description, it says "Vehicle Decals". Not sure what that is yet, but something was added. |
Just FYI people, due to the way it's coded, Jagdtiger Penetrating Shot (and Concrete Piercing) will one-shot any uncrewed vehicle. So if you happen to know where an American has parked his tank for repairs and you are close enough, you can snipe it in one hit without warning. |
I tested it and I've found two issues, one minor and one existing but exacerbated. But first I want to state that Concrete Piercing Round functions exactly the same regardless of what you have loaded.
1. The ISU no longer aims the gun, instead it points forward and shells just curve-ball their way to where it was aiming. Looks funny, but it's only a cosmetic issue.
2. Concrete Piercing round can be fired instantly after an HE or AP round, this is exacerbated with AP allowing you to hit a tank, then follow-up with another hit immediately after. |
USF doesn't need anything elite. They had nothing compared to the übermensch. And the lost the war because they couldn't kill king-tigers. I learned this from COH2 now go back to spamming riflemen peasant. You wouldn't enjoy a fully realistic game, so don't even start. |
