Thread: KV-2?15 Nov 2013, 23:29 PM I haven't detected an imbalance in this yet. The KV-2 has critical weaknesses: 18 second/per shot reload rate in tank mode. Panzer IV/Panthers have 6, 6.5 ish seconds/per shot. In full deploy mode, it autofires and sometimes targets infantry instead of attacking tanks. It misses more than you think. It cost 240 fuel and has the armor/hp of the KV-1. In: COH2 Balance

I see the German one as optimal for inserting into the middle of the capzone. But the problem I have with the 7 muni mine is its small size and clicking intensive activity. I like the new doctrinal 7 muni mines but I am usually put off of the more expensive ones (90, 60 muni). The new map, Lazur factory, works well with defensive doctrine due to all the choke points. I played it again today. ----------------- I use guards motor for the T-34/85. The Marked target and the guards button are too essential. Literally, marked target will swing the tank slugfest to your side due to the big accuracy and damage (+50%) bonuses.. I see armored assault as more of an IS-2 doctrine w/ self repair and IL-2 strafe. Thread: Whats the difference between Irregulars and Partisans?15 Nov 2013, 01:10 AM It was pointed out in another thread here that the partisans have only 40 HP (compared to 80 for conscripts). The Irregulars from Soviet Reserve Army are quite expensive, and appear to have more durability. I had assumed that they had 60-80 health x 4 men. Both units are not strong and fall fast. It looks like it is designed to seriously enhance someone's vanilla coh2 player with the MP to fuel/muni option plus give them a triple incendiary barrage. Thread: The post 'Turning Point' T-34/8514 Nov 2013, 17:23 PM The T-34/85 has been buffed with a penetration increase from 110 to 120 along with a price cut. It, however, received a significant anti-infantry nerf. Having used it, I find that it is significantly weaker against soft targets now and behaves much like a Panzer IV with weaker frontal armor and no 'turret top gunner'. But the bonus is now it can pen Panthers from the side. Any changes in your strats? In: Red Army Strategies
