The Finns destroyed some of these KV-1 in the summer 1944.
KV-1 is bad and it can be so. Therefore it could be placed in tier 4 without problems for the balance of the game, and for historical reasons. KV-1 should be the big and not so good heavy tank, which absorbs damage. The Sovjets have better tanks.
Finnish front was positional, so there remains a lot of pre-war / early stuff: PPD-40, early KV, BT tanks and more |
Why not have KV-1 tier 4 (instead of the suggested T-34/85)? And T-34/76 to be tier 3?
KV-1 served in the Sovjet army between 1940-1945.
KV-1 was used until 1943, later KV-1S and KV-85 until 1944. (A small amount of the KV-1S and KV-85 continued to be used in 1945). not a doctrine t-34-85 sounds better, KV-1 bad it needs some love. |
So - like the OKW is now 100% of the resources, the ability to "gather ammunition" should be only doctrines. |
and where love for the KV-1 and penal? |
The game was balanced pre WFA release. Up onto the day prior to WFA release, the game was perfectly balanced, optimization was better and the game ran great.
The same kind of cool as the Brit release? No thanks
It's true, a week before the release of the Western Front, the game was perfectly balanced. It took a whole year that would balance the two factions. Ahaha. The game will never be balanced. |
Take my hand
Come back to the land... Motherland.
Soviet Guards (shock) Army in Europe.
Or the Pacific Ocean:
- Imperial Japanese Army
- US Marine Corps
- Far Eastern Military District of the USSR
If you take the first and second parts of the game we have:
- Four fractions Germans
- Two factions US
- Two British faction
- And only one Soviet.
And when the second part of the only developed, the developers said that the second part is completely Dedicated to the Eastern Front. And soooo where the Soviets? |
That Me in the first picture looks like some Kraken or huge monester. Scary, but very nice to look at.
A bunch of kids play with abandoned Panzer III tanks. I guess it's the Soviet Union but I can't tell.
It's occupied Kharkov |
Too bad CoH2 is a Hollywood game about Eastern Front
It's true.
CoH1 single player campaign was successful because it was based on the "Band of Brothers" and "Saving Private Ryan"
CoH2 single player campaign failed because based on stereotype "Enemy at the Gates" |
Do not forget that part of the Soviet troops was on the border with Japan.
Also you talking about the Axis forces, this allows German allies or just Wehrmacht?
Yes, one third of all Soviet troops has always been in the Far East in anticipation of Japanese invasion. |
The desperate, struggling Soviets zerg rushing the Germans to make up for their deficiencies are an early-war phenomenon.
And it is also a myth, losing huge losses in men and equipment in the first months of the war, before the beginning of 1943, the Wehrmacht had a numerical advantage |
