If you're after balance in 4v4 you're out of luck dude. You don't balance a game like this from large games down, it goes from 1v1 to 2v2 and anything above 2v2 is usually a crap shoot.
And if you're in a 2v2 and hear a Stuka Dive Bomb sound effect its generally pretty obvious where its hitting and if its not on an immobile target and you still don't dodge it its 100% your fault or luck.
Sorry, but it's exact opposite of what you saying. Balance have to be done from 4vs4 to 1vs1.
Every software model work that way. The worst case scenario to the lesser case.
and it's done using an iterative process.
First you have to find yours data's domain. (the possible maximum of data case).
If you don't do that, every small glitchs in the smaller data set will be multiply in the larger data set... exactly whats happening in COH2....
It's harder but the only real way to do.
In COH2 all units are nearly used in 4vs4, but not all units get used as often in 1vs1. (ex: The biggest one)
I'm making this post give a glimpse about how we (the balance team) feel teamgame dominant meta could be changed to be more fun and more diverse.
Part of the reason I'm making this post is to openly declare our intentions to the community and get some feedback.

Brit's Emplacement brace : (Non-doctrinal)-» Stand Fast remove brace and prevent it's use.
In need of buffs :
Soviet's infantry : So they don't have to rely on penal all the time. They need more alternatives.
USA's infantry : Now without 2 Bars, they need to be a bit more durable to achieve vet+++.
Sure all what you propose is justify (except maybe : Firefly nerf : turret and firing rate already too low), but those above are critical to restore the fun factor to a winning level !

Maybe, but let's see how the AEC fares with the current stats and how Brits fare with their current loadout first.
One issue with AEC starting with snare from Vet0 is that the snare could come out of the blue, before you've even registered this as a threat. If the snare comes earlier, it should be considerably weaker at Vet0.
The AEC has spent 1 year being a no-brainer choice. Let's see how it fares now that there are tradeoffs to make.
As it is now, it's a very interesting ability. Making the AEC a useful unit at all stages of the game.

In games 2 and 3 I didn't even try, got about 60% of my allies' damage. Wanted to see if my team could win with half a teammate. They could. Axis OPopie.
No luck for me, i tried to play alone in 4vs4 Axis Random, but after twice waiting 10-15 min for a game i quit. (4000 players were in game). Will try again.
First of all: Placement games which you have done are completely different from the normal automatch with ranks. It's the reason why I hate playing with new teams because our opponents will usually be utter rubbish when playing in 4p at for the first 10 matches.
I also took a quick look at the ranks of your opponents and teammates. The differences were enormous in our favour.
You used those 3 matches to "prove" that axis are not OP. Conducting experiments and analyzing the data to deliver proof for an argument is called "research".
He folks just relax, Me and Bulgakov are just trying to check some aspects of the game from a different perpective. And trying having fun doing it.

I want that all formats be as balanced as 1vs1. It's good for everyone and good for the game.
I want the game to be fun for all players whatever factions or formats they play. You can hate me for that if you want.
But, what experience do you have you in 4vs4 ? Did you have ever try to play Allies in 4vs4 ? Plz, try 10 random automaches 4vs4 alone from both side and comeback.

This update is great, it has opened up tons of new possibilities and tuned down all kinds of OP nonsense. You should be glad that the game has become more level. Not complaining that your favourite OP toys got taken away.
That's because you also used the Elefant commander.
With one shot, half health is gone. Brummbar can somehow penetrate tanks and then they need to run away.
If you think that Brummbar & Elefant is OP, wait till you try Elefant & Hulldown Ostwind, lol. Best thing is that you don't even have to tech and you also get Stugs from the same building.
