Using it against USF is dumb because pretty much every commander has an offmap + non doctrinal recon. I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you mean? Edit, sorry you mean countering the LefH I assume. Sure I guess, but only infantry companie offmap is guarantued to kill it. Armour is utterly random and airbornes not going to work; nor is mech (?), rifle (Phos) or recon (?) I believe. In: COH2 Balance

Panther's are fantastic and I really like Brummbars personally. Almost all 1v1's never go to T4 for Ostheer as it's just not economical; people would go T4 anyway in team games (because Panther) so I cannot see any real change apart from 1v1 Panzerwerfer opportunities which would be really nice actually. If you are under 152mm, Katjuscha, B4 or Priest fire lategame, an Ostheer mortar won´t help you winning the game at all. Neither will the current Panzerwerfer. The (late) artillery game always goes to the Soviet player. With the Stuka I find that advantage is at least even, and the LefH really isn't as bad as people make it out to be; Allies have a harder time countering it than Axis and it is decently strong. I'd be interested to see T3 Panzerwerfer, I feel getting it out early would be really risky instead of a normal tank as most people still have their M5's/Stuarts to sneak and kill it. I just don't get it often enough in T4 to judge it's performance. If I have T4 up then Panthers are swallowing my popcap. In: COH2 Balance

If you just want to play casually, just play 1v1 casually. Don't let ladder anxiety hurt that, it's not like your stats are shown anywhere unless you look them up. In: COH2 Gameplay

I use 5 Mode Oscar Editor, I'm not sure if it just works with an X7 mouse (quite cheap, about £10 in CZ; best I've ever used) but it allows you to easily bind any button on the mouse to any keyboard key. It's easy with most of these programs: it will give you an option (ie, Button 5) and a second option (a keyboard key) and voila. Button 5 (the closest to your thumb) is ideal for the Tac map, I also have a trigger button next to the left mouse that retreats units. In: Strategy Desk

And the ML-20 will receive a damage nerf. Interesting that it should still be just as effective against infantry, or is there now a greater AoE drop off? Still has great range too.
