Also why should it have such a better AOE profile. Because it's literally the only non-doc indirect support weapon and it comes later then the normal mortars. It's also the most expensive indirect support team in the game. Upgraded rifles are good, but they aren't that good that they need 0 support. In: COH2 Balance

The pack was underpowered for a year, how the hell do you think it would be okay for it to be reduced down to even worse then when it started. They are most vulnerable units in the game and immobile to boot. They can no longer be built in the base and be protected. In: COH2 Balance

They said they aren't going to lower the price because it would lead to schrek spam and that it was worthless on most maps anyway. Basically it's high cost was always a balancing factor and not because of the cold immunity. In: COH2 Balance
