As a result, you may as well end up removing the T34/76 and replacing it with the T34/85 and boost up the price, and come up with a new doctrinal ability. Perhaps the KV-1 as opposed to the T34/85.
Oh god if they replaced T34/85 with the KV1 and made it upgradable, I would jizz my pants. God do i wish the KV1 was in the multiplayer. |
To be honest I am down right ashamed of relic. This was a huge mistake on their part and it absolutely ruined the campaign for me... I mean who skips the battle of kursk. tsk tsk relic |
Am I the only one who doesn't find it feasible to go both T3 and T4 in a competitive 1v1? What kind of fuel income are we talking where you're able to field T70s, a T34 (to be thrown away with a ram), and SU-85s. Building that many units before the SU-85 would leave me as toast.
Russians really only get to choose one of the buildings unless they have a fuck ton of fuel to spare. Even most team games will end with the soviets having only two buildings. That's why they have more commander units, to fill in the gaps. |
Considering you're African American, don't you try to rape, steal and murder?
WTF man! You could have gone with watermelon and fried chicken, but no straight to rape. |
Just to clarify one point, Ram does not factor into the T34's unit value. All abilities are meant to be costed separated, if they are not than that is a separate issue.
Regarding the T34, we're looking into this. Hopefully we'll have something out that the community feels is more appropriate for both the game and the units role.
So I guess this means that T34's ram ability doesn't factor in to it's overall cost and it's technically free because it's disadvantages equal it's advantages. I suppose then that the T34s failings are it's own and not due to its ability. |

All hail the dev gods! Bringer of buffs!

So it's possible for strafe to chase a retreating sniper across the map, so long as the sniper is 'picked' before the retreat button is hit?
No, retreating units are still viable targets. From what I understand once the plane starts turning and chooses the target who is in the range it will then follow that target even if it leaves the range. This includes retreating halfway across the map |
Tweak su-85 reverse speed or sight range or cost a bit. If necessary buff the t34 and give it a bit more cost so that soviets can't complain that su-85 is "only useful at they got". (I personally think ram is great but hey that might just be me).
The T34 has nothing to do with the balance of the SU-85 as the buildings cost too much to get both out and still build from them effectively. Soviet T3 and T4 both need to be viable on their own which is why this is such a touchy issue. If tier 4 can't effectively repel the inevitable armor then the building quickly becomes useless.
Personally I would love for SU-76 to be used more for a general purpose role and have the SU-85 be a more "heavier" expensive counter to armor. |
All the SU-85 needs is a slight speed and turning speed nerf, and for PAK's to have better accuracy.
I'm all for making the pak more accurate and seeing some of the developers feedback that is most likely going to happen, but if the turning speed is turned down any PZ4 can just take the first hit, run up to it, and begin circle strafing. That's what the blitzkrieg ability is for. So it's not like it's impossible to do right now, you just need a single vetted tank, but as I said in my last post the SU-85 is worth a little more then it currently is. |
When they changed the tanks before release they changed the fuel cost and buffed the PZ4. They made no change to the T34's effectivness even though it was made more expensive and it's german counterpart was buffed.
As it stands the T34 is basically a light vehicle more then a tank. Everything except small arms fire hurts it and it takes a T34 longer to kill a halftrack then it does a pz4 to kill a T34.
The T34 needs to be an effective tank, right now it's a T70 with a that can take one more hit and can suicide itself to disable a tank, and if the problem is the ram ability then maybe it should be a vet ability. |
