2v2+ will never be balanced.
This is a terrible attitude to have and I'm sure the developers will dissagree with you. As is 3v3 and 4v4 are much more balanced then vCOH ever was. |
Just wanted to point out that the new commanders didn't seem to have portraits. It was only there for a second at the end, but I believe they had symbols instead. |
lol Soviet blinkers on. Soviet get shocks at the same CP, there is no issue here what so ever.
Did you even watch it. He said shocks are still 1cp. Which means if the soviet player goes for T0 units assault Pgrens will have a few minutes of free raign as long as they don't run into multiple conscripts. Although no one has tried them yet, I was just stating a concern. |
I love most of this, but I'm not too sure about those assault Pgrens at 0cp. The early game was actual pretty balanced, but with these coming out so early they will beat conscripts easily and can only be beat by teching, which takes a little bit form the soviets. |
That happens all the time for the BM too. It's random.
These weapons should have low accuracy and I think the concentrated barrage option should be removed.
And replaced with?
You can't just have a unit without a vet ability, and the soviet artillery usually has the trend of (is inaccurate until it gets vet) sorta thing going for them. |
I think That company of heroes 2 don't need additional factions, eastern front is big enough topic to be exploited for long time.
Expanding/improving units and abilities choice can made game-play more interesting than just adding additional factions committed to one game style .
I have the opposite oppinion. Unlike coh1 which had its doctrines set up a bit like sub-factions, this game's doctrines are much more homogeneus. This usually ends up making it impossible to predict you opponents doctrine choice and you end up having to prepare for everything. The same is true that many of the doctrines play similarly and don't give enough benefits for fighting a certain way.
The sooner we get more factions, the faster we can get a bit more veriety in the way that we play. |
I've been wondering this too, it seems a rather bizarre ability to have in a semi-realistic game. Why is this particular 88mm able to shoot through anything while the Tiger 88mm is not...?
The developers know the unit does not have a very long life. This way it can at least be powerful, until the soviets counter it(which they eventually will). Tigers and elephants don't need this because they can move and are well more durable.
Actually the isu can do this also, but it is an ability for it. |
ZiS AT barrage is very useful in early game to counter german bunker and knock out german HMG in building or placed in a good location which could be hard to flank etc. so it is good enough if Zis got more buff then they better buff Pak too since pak is quite useless and i haven't build a single one of them in the last 10 games i think
The pak is only useless because the germans have better options in the stug and PZ4. The pak is more of a panic unit for if you have niether, but both could use an accuracy boost. If you manage to actually get a tank in that tiny arc of a slow unit I expect it to actually do something. |
Man. I got so excited when I heard there was new commanders.
Turns out, there really wasn't anything new after all.
The worst part is we know they have the KV-1, partisans, other artillery, and now the KV-2 fully rendered, but for some reason refuse to put them in multiplayer without telling us why. |
Meh, I dont understand how these can be called new. There is zero new content there. Re-arranging the same old stuff is just plain lazy. Why did you guys have to venture off from the vCOH system again? Each doc was actually different and you had branches to choose what you wanted as strategic choices throughout the game. The whole thing really needs to be taken back to the drawing board and re-done.
It's probably too late for that. They are pretty invested in them, especially since many people payed actual money for some of them. |
