When they come out there plenty of ways to counter it, but I would prefer the infantry stage of the game to last longer before vehicles come out.
+1, light vehicle rush strats are kinda boring in the long run.

o well, running around the capture flag works wonders against these guys, traverse is so slow they cant do anything. |
Just to give you some insight into the Q/A process for video games. Within a handful of hours of TWFA being released the players had already played more than we could have if we had the full SEGA Q/A department working on it for 2 years.
By now we could have been testing the game for over a decade and still not have put in as much time as players.
15,000+ people playing at a time are going to find things faster than any Q/A department.
Now I don't think that's the case here, because this was fixed in Alpha - but bugs or exploits are going to happen. We'll fix them as fast as we can, and I think in general for CoH2 we've done that.
woo damage control.
goodness though, if it was fixed in alpha, how come copy pasting that version to the retail version was an oversight? it seems like the hardest part was already dealt with, which is the identification and solution of the problem. |
try US vs ostheer snipers. no utility car? pretty much fucked. |
keep them at 240mp with k98s, give them stg44 upgrades at 60munitions for shock troop duties later, with some added utilities for specialization, maybe smoke nades.
that would solve alot of problems with t0 combatants. |
That is the most retarded thing ive ever seen in a military RTS. What did i just watch?
probably a video a certain group of specific individuals favouring ze vatherland masturbate to every night. |
its an integrity issue, if u want the win so badly, use it. i will leave game and give you the win. stats is one thing, competitive games is much more important.
honestly, m3 dont stop capping like the truck does and the truck is so resistant to small arms they can do it all day, follow up with infantry and kubelwagen and poom, there goes ur cut off.
then its a downhill fight from there on. |
my take is go defensive and go meaty. it wont be easy and require some sort of acrobatics to make it work. dont let the sniper spam go up, if it does, you are fucked. get ur guys together and hold ur fuel.
4x gren + 1x mg42 and mortar ht, put teller mines at probable positions and pray, since tellers 1 shots m3, u dont really need to do anything else other than placing it. this part is extremely important. many m3 players are bloody over confident and have a good chance to drive over ur mines. always remember to keep ur gren number up, replace them if u need to.
the thing with soviet snipers are that they fire REALLY slow, it takes a good while for a sniper to take out a 4men mg42, so give them a reason to shoot the mg42, keep pinning them. heavy into snipers means u are free from conscripts running all over the map. if its only a single sniper, then there shouldnt really be much of a problem.
as for maxim, the mht should take care of them nicely, burn them, always burn them so they move or die. then if time and luck allows it, barrage snipers and hope for a 1 shot kill or at least move them out of range, sounds quite rng but it happens.
as for the 222, its defense for your lone squads capping. harrass his fuel, his cut off. since he doesnt have much conscripts, ur grens are basically free to take the map. if he sends snipers to deal with ur lone squads, the 222 can chase it away or kill it if he was being too ballsy. reason being there's nothing in the match up that can go 1v1 with 222 unless he has guards and AT guns, then u better stick together.
its not the something that will surely work, but its better than just completely relying on a 222. |
Ok, then is one of these 2:
1. I realy need L2P - in hundreds of german plays I still don't know how to play with germans and how to shoot a rifle grenade, though I used it hundreds of times until now;
2. What you say it's not true, I NEVER shaved 5 models in one shot after last patch, and the average is 2 models not 3.
if i were to say 1 and 2, mostly 1. it happens but not all the time.
like i said, situational. if u get a bunched up squad, count ur blessings, fire it off and watch them blow up.
selective memory also play a part here, i can remember clearly my squads wiped in a flash, while u can remember clearly ur nades didnt do anything at all. |
Oh look, I made a good point, so you've moved the goalposts and said "No you can't talk about that, talk about this instead."
Soviet T4 supplies Tank Destroyers and Artillery, and the T-34/76 isn't even near the same league as the Panther. The T-34/76 is a generalist medium tank, the Panzer IV is a generalist medium tank. You compare them to each other, not the Panther. The Panther is a high-end medium tank, T-34/85 and M4C are high-end medium tanks, you can compare those.
Doctrine be damned, you can get them in 4 doctrines, 3 of which are very solid and potent. Most builds will have one of these options equipped, especially since they're cheaper and more effective in the current call-in meta.
I do not want them buffed, I want a cost decrease so they are more accessible. As for "all commanders without call in tanks would then be made useless", you mean like the Germans are? Panzer IV can't shoot for shit (highest scatter of any generalist medium tank), Panther is very difficult to obtain, that leaves them with StuG's and Tiger tanks.
you missed the point entirely. my post was, fix call ins, not buff panthers. making them cheaper, directly or indirectly is a buff. also, lets not word play, this isnt politics. keep it simple. a cost decrease is definitely classed as a 'buff'.
that is why u compare with 'teched' units. panther is a class of its own with performance reflecting it, therefore the premium cost. but panther also requires teching. problem now is, t34/85 and M4C are also call ins and dont require teching, making them so much more cost effective than regular units. if you were to buff panthers on the level of M4C and t34/85's accessibility, the cost reduction will have be pretty significant in order to bring the panther out in time for them.
if u want to keep tackling the SYMPTOMS of the problem, so be it, then you will never be able to fix the problem itself. panthers are good as it is.
reason for their current under performance is because call ins are much cheaper, more cost effective and in some cases, come earlier. its much more effective to hold ground with t2/t3 with paks or p4, depending on ur preference, then get tigers. probably gonna come out roughly the same time as panther and with even more performance to boot, not sure why people are even saving up for panthers really. |
