Do you believe a single unit should change the entire out come of the game? Do you believe this unit should require the opposing player to throw everything they have at it to be able to defeat it? Those are super hero units in my opinion and should not be in this game. King Tiger v1 was a great example of this. I aliken it to your special character in Dawn or War II expect with more power as you can field numerous of them at the same time.
Well if it seems like you were winning the game and the jadgtiger completely switched it around. Maybe you were winning because the player was crazy enough to save up for an expensive jadjtiger which greatly limits him while you were beating him down. In order to get a jadjtiger you would have to hold off from getting any tanks or vehicles so they are pretty much just infantry spamming which leaves the okw very vulnerable because of how allied armor are so good at killing infantry.
You could try to be more aggressive, you can get around 4 t34s for one jadjtiger, and since you have the advantage of having tanks that are good at killing infantry you can gain better map control then your opponent thus the possibility of getting more tanks like 6 or 7.
I have no idea what's happening with Relic. It either needs the damage penalty or a suppression decrease, not both.
It's either nerf it this way or thay way, not double nerfs into one unit.
Relic is going overkill with their nerfs, it's like "aw, fuck it, I'm going to use both nerfs" It's the same with the Panther. Either give it price increase or health decrease, but not both.
You really shouldn't feel endangered by that because of the fact that it can't move, it's easy prey for AT guns, and the American off map artillery strike would just destroy it in one go.
I really hope Relic would switch the Kubelwagen with the MG34. The KubelWagen is excellent for like the first few minutes of the game, against only Americans and Soviet Conscript spam, and that's if you micro it intensively, anywhere else it fails miserably.
It would be better if Kubelwagen becomes more durable but since it's a mobile vehicle unit that comes very early, that would be OP so it should come later as a doctrine unit at a cost of some cps.
The MG34 would serve and the standard suppression unit that the OKW needs to counter the massive blobs they are easily defeated by. Currently it's alright to blob your infantry against OKW because the OKW doesn't have any means to counter a blob, hence the need for a easily accessible MG or any anti infantry.
I don't have much faith on the flak halftrack now that it dies much easier, and because of it's set up time, it's not going to survive if any AT gun or T34 points at it, because it's most likely not going to get away.
I rarely get chests, and when I do I get nothing new. I get bullentins I already have, skins I already bought from the store. It's like Relic is telling me this after I spent my money.
If Relic would just quicken the aim and reaction time, it would alleviate this problem. Even when the mg sees units right a front of them they will take like 3 seconds to shoot. If the gunner dies, the next mg crew will just walk up to the mg, stand for a couple of seconds, then sits down, looks left then right then starts shooting. a looot of stuff to do before shooting. I just wish the mg crew would just walk up and re crew it but they don't.
The mg42 should also do more damage. The Germans would lose an infantry member and get suppressed from the first burst from the maxim or 50 cal (it's more understandable with the 50 cal though )
However, the Soviets would not lose any men and take slight damage from the mg42. One squad can even just crawl up to the mg42 to throw a moltov while taking light casualties.
The German MG42 needs to do more dps in order to punish the enemy for making his stupid mistakes!
I think the AA halftrack comes too early, but I think the fault lies with the German builds. The AT gun is short range and it takes like 4 seconds to shoot after it's set down.
The Panzershreck comes late and you can't get much of them because of the low munitions income the OKW has, which shouldn't have a low munition income. Relic still has the low income thing just because their resource truck idea didn't work. They gave the okw a little more income at the cost of removing the resource truck ability but it never occurred to them that they could just give them normal income and jack up the prizes.
The 360 degrees suppression is like the stupidest thing to add on a unit, especially the doctrine MG. It's like an MG that you can't flank. It doesn't cost anything to use, it does such high damage and infantry can't get close to them from any direction.
Every time I hear people talk about how everyone favors axis than allies, just reminds me of Red Orchestra 2. The Axis team is always full every time I played in that game. Even when the Soviets were OP the majority of players still play Axis.
I think it's because people just perfer to play Germans more. They have the cool high tech looking equipment and uniforms and the Soviets look dull. (the faction design is also gimmicky as hell)
Another reason why more people play axis is because I feel the American faction is just the weaker version of the Soviet faction. In team games it seems like you can't with win Americans without a Soviet player to absorb the damage and provide the firepower. It also seems like you would do a better job with a full Soviet team than a American/Soviet mix.
I would perfer to play Americans over Soviet any day, but not at this rate.
