I don't see a problem with the German sniper, if you use cover properly you can pick off the enemy and quickly camouflage, but if you try to one man vrs army with it out of the open it's dead.
The real problem for this game is the Soviet sniper. There were multiple occasions when I'm using the sniper where it got flanked but were able to get away. Also I can take out an entire gren squad with it without any support by just shooting and sprinting away. I even counter sniped a German sniper without realizing it. The damn thing is too easy to use. The Soviet sniper should be one man. |

Maybe it is a good turnout per capita of CoH2 community, but then that begs the question why is the CoH2 community so small? Don't say "because its a new game and will pass CoH1 with time"

I know coh2.org forums had a lot of racist prosoviets and neonazis in the chat, but now all of the racist comments are gone now.
Even now I don't see racists remarks just people accusing other people of being racists. What we're really doing is claiming who is more evil than the other which is a very old discussion that you see in EVERY youtube or video game that is related to World War II.
I guess this is the consequence of starting a World War II game. Since every game community have a lot of hate mongering posters, and this game is based on a real war which brings ultra nationalists to into the forums.

I wanted the German weapon teams to be more effective but at the same time require infantry to work at their best. Right now German weapon teams has been nerfed a lot to prevent them from being spammable unit.
You remember the old days when MG42 spam was just unstoppable?
This game would have been so much better if the weapon teams would have some limitations to capping but in turn be a lot more effective. Complaining about con spam doesn't help because you can buff the mgs to compensate.
The reason why infantry in CoH2 is necessary is because of the damage engine gimmick which is stupid, and that the MG42 had to be overnerfed to make it useless so it's no wonder why people go gren spam. MG42 was nerfed so hard that a conscript squad has a chance to just walk up straight afront of the mg, kill the mg gunner and run past it. |

I just played vCoH again and I just realized much better it was that mgs can't cap points. It makes infantry feel so much more important. |
I think the big issue with Relic is that every patch they make made huge changes. There are no small adjustments it's one big patch after another. Relic buffed Soviet tanks heavily and nerfed German tanks at the same time, when it could have been better to nerf German tanks and see how it goes before deciding to buff Soviet tanks.
Another big problem is that Relic satisfied with the bad design of the current two broken factions. They just refuses to fix what is broken like double snipers, squad wipe mines, and the lack of demolition devices for the Germans. They never made any changes to the design of the unit, they only nerf or buffed them but the design was left unchanged from beta. |
Yes, many of the maps are imbalanced and Relic is doing nothing about it. I think there were some people that made their case about it but it doesn't seem like anyone did. If you are going to talk about map imbalance you should give a good description and some pictures to why the map is imbalanced. You should also make sure Relic see's it, but I don't think they even bother looking into coh2.org anymore. If you don't all efforts would have gone to waste. |
