While I don't think that's an issue itself, it still means that the penal should really be more expensive individually. Access to faust doesn't really make up for the difference in dps, and both penal and volks get access to weapon upgrade. I would also rather give some versatility to the penal in exchange for a price increase to ~320 mp per squad and ~27 per man. Have the satchel charge deal heavy engine damage at 50% hp. This still leave the penal build vulnerable to light tank rush, but give them additional use at late game. In: COH2 Balance

It should probably be 310mp and 8 pop. and maybe nerf the veterancy bonus as well. the vanilla veterancy bonus is probably a bit much for an actual decent unit. In: COH2 Balance

The only units that actually fire faster and damage 160+ damage are the three casemate td. In the preview mod, the su-85's firing rate actually got nerfed as well. This mean that the only tank destroyers that actually fire faster than the tiger are both axis. In: COH2 Balance

The jackson and the firefly are specalized tank destroyer vulnerable up close. the tiger have one of the fastest firing tank gun in the game. It will beat any allied tank 1v1 with the possible exception of the IS2. Even the pershing will most likely lose. You can't have a tiger that can beat any allied tank in a brawl, and then complain the tiger get picked off by Allied long range TD. In: COH2 Balance

Tiger can't hunt cuz hes too slow. Just soaks up damage then crawls back for age long repairs. the tiger will win against the pershing. The tiger's 200 extra hp give it the edge. the pershing can barely stand up to the panther as it is. and both the FF and Jackson are specifically designed to hunt the tiger at range. In: COH2 Balance

You can 1 shot squads that clump into 4/5 windows. most decent player can easily dodge a frag grenade. the incendiary grenade's biggest advantages is that it deny the use of the building. Thread: Tiger without claws?10 May 2016, 19:53 PM how exactly is the tiger weak? it still reliably kill allies medium and infantry, and can fight IS2 and pershing on a equal basis. stuff, like the FF, jackson, and su-85 are the counter to tiger. Without those counter the allies are fairly screwed against the tiger, unless the allies got their own heavy/advanced tank out. In: COH2 Balance

Was there deflection damage in vcoh? seems like it. deflected damage were in vcoh, but that game is different. Thread: (May Preview Mod) Penal Batalion10 May 2016, 09:21 AM In terms of meta game, the penal's complete lack of anti-vehicle make the build vulnerable to tanks and light tank. on the other hand, they are just about the best anti-infantry squad in the game. Only the ober compare are as good at it. The unit force the okw and wehr to use support weapons or tank as the penal seems to dominate infantry combat. In: COH2 Balance
