The centaur's performance should match that of the Ostwind. Both have same unit price
the centaur cost more than the ostwind, 320mp 100 fuel vs 280 mp 100 fuel.
I find that the Centaur preforms better than the ostwind as an anti infantry unit however they seem to have different tactics that each one excels at like hit and runs, flanking or just sitting behind infantry and killing. As of now the centaur is in a good spot and I dont want to risk any changes that will make it like before.

I disagree on this, maybe the buff was too big, though. As I said, in order to avoid possible overnerf again, I advocate fixing Rifle Company first, all I'm saying.

even before the rifleman veterancy buff, rifle company was already considered the "go-to" for US in 1v1.
The only problem with rifleman previously was the USF lack of artillery and the weakness of the bar. Admittedly I think the bar is still a bit weak, but the pack howitzer is pretty awesome now.
The pack howitzer buff is major, especially since most axis squad are vulnerable to explosive due to low member count. If the grenadiers are not getting killed by terminator, they are getting killed by pack howitzers. |

SCAS was changed from 120 to 60 BECAUSE it got 2nd plane, less alpha strike, but harder to counter now.
CAS still have 120, nothing changed for it.
actually both version get two guns, so it's more like 2x60 and 2x120.
both versions also have a 20% of triggering a critical on deflection, and they will still deal 66% damage damage on deflection. |
yeah, the ability seems to be a lot better than the thunder bolt rockets. It will easily kill most allied armor and will go after any infantry as well.
Nowadays it's pretty rare to see the thunderbolt actually kill something. Even the panzer4 can easily get out in time.
The stuka by comparsion are a lot more accuracy and the shell seems to stunn tanks it hits. |

Wehr indeed is currently disadvantaged in being unable to cost-effectively fight infantry battles, and in a number of other respects. Unless you go full tryhard Osttruppen that is, but even that won't do against Rifle Flamers. Also, never employ PGrens in anything but an auxiliary role.

My advice is to do what I do and treat it more as the comedic relief faction it is, I've been trying infantry doctrine and all the other thoroughly non-meta commanders recently, its been a blast.
both the wehr and the OKW suffer from brittle infantry. All the received accuracy in the world isn't going to make the grenadier or ober resistant to explosive.
wehr might have the more damaging support weapon, but their infantry and support weapons are also more fragile. Wehr is a faction of glass cannon. The soviet and USF both have excellent mean of exploiting the wehr's lower infantry count.
Previously the USF had to rely on rifleman, but now they have the pack howitzer to rain death upon the wehr. Rifleman don't need the uber vet 3 bonus anymore.
the HE sherman is almost cheating against the wehrin 1v1. the only reason why the HE round needs to be so powerful is because they need to fight against schreck blob. |
222 loses to infantry section in green cover 1v1, a critted 222 will lose even more&faster
( you did support your sniper with infantry, didnt you?)
if you're trying to chase down a sniper, why are you trading shots with a tommy? Tommy doesn't have tank snare so you can just drive pass him.
for that matter, since tommies doesn't have tank snare, what you can do is drive up to their face. the mg42 ignore cover at close range so the 222 will tear up tommies at that close of a range. |
I will agree that tommies should be 30-32 mp per man, not 28 mp per man. Their veterancy is also too powerful.
The 6 pounder is too cheap considering it's a clone of the pak40.
However, the mortar emplacement and 25 pdr are both useless, while the Wehr mortar and panzerwerfer are still powerful.
Lastly, the vicker have dps but frankly suck at suppressing. The mg42 is the superior mg by being excellent at both killing and suppression. The vicker is a bit better at killing but its suppression suck. |
the british tommies get a squad size upgrade because they pay for it in advance.
there's no way that a 4 men tommies squad is worth 280mp. Their "real" cost is closer to 260-240 mp but definitely not 280.
this means that the british is paying the price of a 5 men squad in the beginning for a 4 men squad. They then need to spend additional mp and fuel to unlock the missing man.
the wehr grenadier are straight worth 240 mp. If the grenadier get a 5th men they would be worth 300 mp.
the biggest problem is more with the rifleman and Tommy veterancy. Their vetted received accuracy value is just too high. This put the grenadier at a huge disadvantage in a small arms fight as well as artillery duel.
Now that the pack howizter is actually decent the USF doesn't need to rely on rifleman.
british vs wehr is a bit more tricky since the british doesn't get any mobile artillery except for the sexton. |

Sniper?
They also have long range AT options like 17lber, PIATS, sniper and sprint on their 6lber.
sniper snare only work on light vehicle.
Against medium/heavy tank it's just a turret lock.
against td it's a short stun.
