There isn't really a lot of place where the glider can land close to the front in one piece. Furthermore you can't repair the glider and it's vulnerable to small arms as well. 410 mp is a better price. although the light gammon bomb is still the most devastating grenade in the entire game. It's stupidity powerful and cheap at the same time. In: COH2 Gameplay

The precise problem was that the lmg42 was far too strong of a weapon at close range, but there was a lot of room for nerf. just change the lmg42 to deal ~9.0N-~6.0F dps instead of the instead of the ~6.0N-~9.0F we have now. It would still be the weakest short range upgrade but the strongest long range upgrade. (this is assuming the rifleman and british veterancy got a nerf as well) In: COH2 Gameplay

Late game in dmg output is just so high that a group of lmgs will wipe out an MG before getting pinned. And it's worse when fresh hmgs face vet upgraded squads. Essentially the infantry-hmg dynamic changes to favourite infantry too much. this is precisely what I meant when I said that the lmg's bad design is cascading into other bad changes. Just change the lmg already instead of trying to change the game around what's clearly a problematic game design. In: COH2 Gameplay

Two factions (ostheer, ukf) are modeled on infantry being better at long range and the lmgs are a critical component of that. A third (okw) has close links to lmgs cause of obers. not removing the lmg, redesign them. The dps profile on the LMG needs to be revised back into a regular dps profile, not the reverse slope we have now. It just make the infantry too strong. A lmg blob will easily out dps a hmg and be significantly more mobile and durable as well. It's a complete nightmare fighting lmg42, m1919a6, and bren blob. One of the biggest reason why the rifleman got their terminator buff is to counter the lmg42. The lmg problem is just cascading into other problems. the maxims, .50cal, and the mg42 are all fine as long as the enemy doesn't get a lmg blob up and running. Unfortunately the wehr and british both basically run on lmg. In: COH2 Gameplay

Does this answer satisfy you? actually it looks like sturmpioneer repair speed is still set to 1.6, although the minesweeper upgrade still give +1 and vet 2 give another +1. it seems you don't need the minesweeper out to get the bonus, you just need to have brought the upgrade. how many repair pioneer does the mechanized truck spawn? it looks like each guys still repair at 3hp/s In: COH2 Balance

Giving penals any form of AT would mean T1 is your one stop shop for death since snipers could be protected from 222 or Kubel from the get go. Needs to be clear play and counter play. you get conscript out of the gate and they have access to at nade. theoretically penal also have access to satchel. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Universal Carrier Issues10 Nov 2015, 17:33 PM the bren carrier need 280 hp. Unlike the 222 or the m3 scout car, the bren carrier only has 35 sight range. This mean it's a lot harder for the bren carrier to see threats in time. It's also fairly useless as a transport since infantry can't fire out of it nor can the UC reinforce. In addition, the british lack access to engineer in the beginning. Sufficient damage to the UC will take it out of operation until the british get t1 up and running. In: COH2 Balance

Players in general had assume sniper doesn't work since the two previous sniper in the game are not really a good garrison counter. In: COH2 Balance
