Riflemen veterancy does absolutely nothing to increase their durability versus AOE. These test results are pure RNG.

Grens do get better resistance versus AOE with vet 3, but since tank shells deal 160 damage it won't help against the near AOE damage oneshotting models.


Received accuracy also practically does not matter against scatter weapons (tank main gun versus infantry). The chance to directly hit a model is 2-5% based on the distance, so that's negligible. Tanks use scatter to hit infantry, which is a random RNG calculation that totally ignores infantry target size.

So grens even with an upgrade and doctrine upgrade will not even have a chance against allied mainline infantry. What a joke. Who is balancing these patches? WHY is wehrmacht getting nerfs pretty much since the game launched? Has grenadiers ever got a single buff ever? Hello? Why are they even 4 man to begin with? Grenadiers where "elite" when the game launched but power creep into allied factions have made them barely average at this point so there is ZERO reason for them to be 4 man.

4 man squads just brings more randomness into the game since you can lose 4 man squads to indirect fire so easily.

2-3 cp elite is not quite similar to 0cp assault infantry call. At least shock/ranger/mandos need time to build up rather than snowballing right from the stat while not having to worry about late game.

if you think ass gren into tiger is ok then ass section into croc/pershing should be the same or you better just admit your bias

OH basically lost more games against USF and did extremely well against UKF.

Guess what happens when you take a look at games were they are more even skill wise:

OH: 58.5% (41)

Let me say this:

-Reminder this is a terminator format. This favours EFA who have a wider pool of simil commanders to pick from.
-Anything in the realm of around ±5% is BALANCED. It's only worth looking at heavy outliers values (see UKF, although the faction itself has always had problems outside of balance)
-Commander popularity tells a better story.

Vls is not the only "infantry portion" of the Commander. Stomptrooper is an infantry unit, you have the HT which support the infantry and then the frag bomb - an anti infantry off map, the theme is there mor than ever.
