Thread: What is this unit size?16 Jan 2022, 10:51 AM Jump back to quoted post16 Jan 2022, 02:20 AMKatukov anti tank guns miss their shots exceptionally more if there is a green cover portion between the AT gun and the tank. this also works the other way around, with exceptions (namely brummbar) you can place a sandbag in front of a t70, put AT at max range, give both sandbag and t70 invulnerability and test it yourself, if you don't believe me. This "works" other way around only vs infantry, since almost all infantry hits are scatter rolls, opposed to armor hits, which are mostly accuracy hits. In: COH2 Balance

This makes scatter shots from AT guns miss more, especially if there is an obstacle between t70 and AT, like green cover (e.g. car or a brick fence). But that's only scatter. All hit rolls should connect, like with any other unit, since they ignore obstacles, armored units in front of the target, elevation etc. In: COH2 Balance

No mortar, no smoke. Maybe flanking I guess, but a good player will make 2 hmgs to defend mid and flank. starting solution is same as UKF - sandbags. Dug in, counterattack from green cover, setup a med Battlegroup and then just spam smoke with leig. Then build hmg42, AAHT and rak to solidify your position. Just to be on the safe side vs MG spammer JLIs are great as well. You can also get a 221 and efficiently bleed the enemy. In: COH2 Gameplay

Also if you are starting or mid rank, even top 10 to 15 percentile, those stats are generally useless for you in anything, but balance discussions. I mean; i'd rather have 180 muni for 15 shells then 300 muni for 24 shells from the same ability (since you can't control exactly where the ability stops). Would leave room for other muni abiliies instead of draining your banked amount. AFAIK its cost is fixed to 180 and just scales with free muni, without consuming them. In: COH2 Gameplay

I'd confidently say that my old rig was inferior to your laptop, yet I could play the game very comfortably without reducing the setting to the lowest settings OP, is the issue prevalent only in coh2? I'm from Ukraine, so for the most part I'm extremely anti-soviet, even though 3 out of 4 grand-grandfathers fought in the Red Army, 2 of the made it alive. One of them got killed in Kursk battle, MIA. About the "1 rifle for several soldiers". One of my grand-grandfathers was positioned near Lviv (also known as Lemberg or Lvov, Western part of Ukraine) and he actually was in situation when even if you managed to get a rifle, you had no ammo for it to shot with :/ He also told my farther a lot of shit that Germans pulled out (including atrocities), but for the most part Wehrmacht was OK. Stories with German pilot falling in love with Jewish girl and trying to save her life in Kiev, followed by mass murders and almost famine alike conditions in big cities. Burned villages, rape and murder, villagers forcefully repositioned to Germany to work on farms, just to be later be horribly treated and raped by the Soviets as traitors. So much real and great stories, but, as Gachi pointed out, Relic went full "Enemy at the Gates" type of crap In: Lobby
