Yet, An other special of mrgame2, lady and gen. Sure, You can have "rapid moving" from 6pdr's vet 1, in exchange for the stun shoot. This button should act as old coh brit infantry section button "Attach to officer". This way it will be easier to use PG vet bonus. Actually in coh1, British Offices have "maintain command range", which stick them to the squad. It work in coh1 because Offices and infantry have the same walking speed but if you stick a pgr to vehicle, they cant catch up. In: COH2 Gameplay

Besides as tested by our friend Harry, maxim has better far suppression and pin times than the supposedly Super mg42. Ain't far suppression and pin times very important, or more important. Many times allies can crawl up and drop a nades on mg42. Nades > rifle nades. Your claim of maxim have "significant" faster reposition time is a fucking lie because maxim setup time has been the same 3s like all other mg since fucking 2 years ago. Maxim Simply pack up barely faster the others, and then that is when deadloop kick in. And in hary's test, you ignored that mg42 suppress the center squad faster than maxim, which mean if you actually fucking micro your ng42 to switch target after suppress, mg42 work muck better, combine with a fucking wide arc meaning you dont event have to reposition to switch between multiple targets. Thread: Maxim final buff suggestion!17 Sep 2019, 06:17 AM If any mg in the game could dig themselves in and fire 360° then it should be the vicker, since it is the only mg in the game can rotate 360° on it own tripod without having to pack up, irl, and dig in is the theme of UKF more than any other faction. I we discussed the idea of UKf's weapon teams can dig in in redesign emplacements thread. On top of that, 360° of acr will be OP, at best make it facing like in garrison. What i'm trying to say is dig in wont fit maxim. For decrease size when retreating, agree. Strafing fire like GI john said above is also nice. In: COH2 Gameplay

The call in maxim, being cheaper than the DSHK and no tech means it could work well with pricey penals, granted it would only really work in defensive tactics as it wouldnt suit lend lease (not that the DSHK does but the maxim less so) Lend lease can use M2. However they have a lot of quarks and perhaps gimmicks that make them extremely hard for less experienced or accommodated players to their playstyle. Plus blobs. 3 LTs plus several Bren upgraded sections and a few PIAT upgraded Sappers can really do some damage as well as several Fireflies, perhaps the best Allied tank I would say in that game, supported by a Cromwell Command Tank, can really mop the floor with the Axis if microed correctly. Kangaroos were also fun while they lasted. As far as the trucks goes, that was actually pretty spot on in terms of historical portrayal I'd say. They were the only Army to truly use a lot of mobile command trucks called "Armored Command Trucks" based on I think 2 types of AEC truck chassis, one small 4 wheel one and one larger, 6 wheel one. One example I can give you is Rommel's personal command and control vehicle being such a captured British one which they called the "Mammut" which you can probably guess what it means. There's also a few pictures on the internet here and there if you just Google for it. The Germans used command trucks like that to a bit of a lesser degree, I've only seen ones based on the Opel Blitz so the ones the OKW have in-game, as in the sWS were more used as heavy haulers, Panzerwerfer and Flak self-propelled guns rather than field HQs. They just went with the emplacements in the wrong direction if you ask me. If it were up to me I'd give the British the full complement of support weapons in both games, that being the Vickers, 3-inch Mortar and 6 Pounder but with the added twist of being able to spawn their respective emplacements around them to "dig themselves in" so to speak. That would provide the British player with the option and not force him into being heavily/overly defensive while sticking with the overall theme of the Army. Giving UKF a full set of weapon team with the ability to "dig in" sound interesting, having a complete set of support weapons available in normal form definitely make the faction easier to play with, while "dig in" give them distinction and fit in to faction's theme. And i think this isn't that difficult to do, as a vicker or a single 3 inches mortar will fit nice and tight in an USF fighting position model. The 6 pdr can be squeezed in to a bofor pit and that it. You can use all of them like normal or dig them in to gain additional benefits like increase sight/ range. While dig in, beside being more durable up to a certain lv, those weapons may still able to be decrewed (by indirect, flame...) but if enemies pick them up, they will only can use like normal, no dig in. Bigger things like bofor or 17 pounder can use my UC idea like above. In: Lobby

Gren got a good buff against allies projectile at vet3. The buff makes grens suspectible to RA. It is a good buff but not like word major suggest. But that is only against projectile. I am talking about flanking team weapons, which grens is bad. So is PG considering their costs. Rifle nades are worse compared to handheld nades allies have. Dont forget allies infantry are better because of moving accruacry and dps because of more man. And mg42 is weakest in packup/setup and repositioning. Vetted allies infantry is simply better. Hence i suggest since allies keep getting small buff because they are complaints it is not suppressing as fast as mg42. Why not look at mg42 pack/setup at vet, since it is most suspectible to allies infantry unlike wehrboo grens. Ok, if dmg modifier is not a major buff then give it back to rangers. Again, gren is long range specialist designed to fight from static position, they are not mean to be A move. If you want to flank as ost, you buy pzgren, and if that isn't enough, you have a mortar to provide snoke. If You said allies infantry is better for moving accuracy, point out a unit have any sort of moving dps in the whole UKF stock line up. The only MG come at the same time as mg42 is vicker and vicker have worse pack up/set up time than the 42. The other two mgs of allies is maxim and M2, while both m2 and maxim have faster set up than 42, they also have narrower arc and locked behind tech which cost fuel. Mg42 already have an arc of nearly 180°, instant suppress and supported by pio with increase sight range, meaning you often see enemies's flanking movement sooner, meaning you mg42 have more time to reposition. To top that up, ost also have a stock, cheap Mg bunker to defense flank. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Maxim Overperforming15 Sep 2019, 06:59 AM Jump back to quoted post15 Sep 2019, 06:19 AMmrgame2 as a wehrboo 2v2 player. every buff to maxim,vickers,50cal makes it even harder. because grens are not as good in flanking at all vet levels vs all vet levels allies mg. the same cannot be said against mg42 against the type of allies infantry. hence i have suggested to mod team mg42 needs a small buff in either tear down or setup time on vet. this is to equalise in mid-late games.
