Sturmtiger kills blob = Omg, evil Germans. I think that sums up the Stiger OP posters nicely It is very strong but it comes in a weak doctrine with no elite inf or arty and has a huge reload time. It's not just the 50 seconds to reload either, you have to add another 20 for reversing way back from the front first. Perhaps it's not the best-designed unit but I'm sure it's not gonna rule the meta like t34-85s and PTRS spam. (Though perhaps AoE could be reduced a bit...) In: COH2 Balance

I see no reason why the MG42 costs the same as a maxim buts is much better, why the Ost mortar is so great for the same price as the shitty soviet 82mm, and why the Ost sniper is more survivable than the Sov sniper while retaining a higher ROF. But thats just me :} The Mortar and MG questions are legitimate, prhaps those things need reassessing. But I think the OH sniper having (a tiny bit) more health + RoF is because the soviet can't be counter-sniped in one shot. That's a huge advantage. In: COH2 Gameplay

I didn't say anyone did. Noone forces you to choose CAS or even play CoH. But we are talking about what an allied player can do when the OH player choose to use CAS. So: The powerful side of CAS that OP had difficulties facing were the number of (and strength of) strafes - these cost munitions. To get the most out of CAS a player needs to do a lot of fuel-muni conversion. When facing a player who is converting all his fuel into munitions, there are ways to adapt and punish his choices. If you thought I was complaining that CAS leaves you with no fuel, you are wrong. I was explaining the downside of the doctrine so OP could find a way to counter it. In: COH2 Balance
