Ostheer Panther being shit isn´t even on the list. My hopes for a quality balance patch are pretty low. Have they ever been high? I think they'll make changes to all the options and will use the stats to determine how strong they should be. It's a weak way to do it but on the other hand, if you could choose multiple options, the data they received might be useless. Who knows. . . Probably not Relic ^^ Patch... Where's the hype train!? Thread: Allies weapon racks upgrade and USF smoke10 Oct 2016, 19:26 PM As I see it, because of weapon racks, all US and Brit infantry outclasses all axis infantry except Obers and Panzerfusiliers. Jaegers match up when vetted only. Guards are on the same level as US and UKF infantry and come in docs with powerful tanks and mark target. Ost grens are pathetic. It is the equivalent of "Tommy/Tommies" or "Jerries". "Japs" is short for Japanese; " Nips" is short for "Nipponese" and "Paki" is short for Pakistani. When I try to play axis in 2v2 it seems like no matter which faction I pick, if a brit player gets a hold of a good position for just a minute or so it's over, because he will put bofors and mortar pits up and then spam FREE recon from the bren carrier. Maybe this is just karma for me playing to much allies.. You deserve it Minnie, with your demo and your Guards Motor But yeah, have been seeing it a lot too. By the time you get a stuka to finish 2 emps after brace, they've got a ton of fuel and ofc just rebuild them. Not totally OP but forces an arty fest game that isn't much fun In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Guards vs at partison 26 Aug 2016, 22:59 PM Guards have bigger squads and the PTRS hurts infantry pretty well, certainly better than a shrek. Plus guards can get the SMG upgrade. Perhaps vs ost partisans are better with the shrek for med tanks. But vs OKW - guards = forget getting advantage out of Luchs or Puma + they are good AI In: COH2 Gameplay

Great original post, agree with everything. Sending one squad out can be like suicide, esp vs demos and t-70. And yeah - forward retreat really minimises the downsides to blobbing. I like negative zeal though. It's much easier to hit a target when you're firing at a large group than if you're firing at one guy. Would be a direct blob deterrent. Your blob might have more firepower but would also be more susceptible to damage. The bigger the blob, the worse the damage. I'm sure it would motivate players to break up squads a bit. "The Somme is exactly how I'd describe most 2v2 maps. It's hard to come up with clever maneuvers when your opponent's always only 20 feet away. Wider maps with well-placed LOS blockers would make for some epic flanks, rather than the puddingy arty vs arty or blob-rush vs MG.
