I say it's more like the Comet needs to be on Panther level.
Lol?
Unless you meant that it should lose its speed and AI power? Then it would equal the panther, sure.

I wonder if you said the same thing about Volks blobs with shreks? Now Axis cannot blob AT infantry but Allies can when really it's the axis that needs the AT to handle Allied lights and mediums. And if they have a group of inf with both AT and AI? And what to do when a mattress, Katyusha, Calliope wipes your Obers? Or when their mediums rush in and crush your infantry, which is something Axis cannot do either. The tables have turned solidly in favour of allies with excellent infantry, the best light tanks and tons of indirect fire options. Axis infantry just melts, then the AT blobs come in. Guys, could someone please answer if: +1 Or make Axis trenches only available to Axis units. Also, do we really need a stronger bren carrier? T0 and T1 light vehicles have never contributed to fun gameplay. With the upgrade, the Bren will be more deadly and more impervious to light arms. GNYAKHHH! Compare the armour and HP values of allied light vehicles to the damn Kubel's and consider the balance. In: COH2 Gameplay |

He didn't PROVE anything. He claims it is harsh but that doesn't mean it is. Teching T2 for Zis is a very small investment. Hector thinks it's harsh because it means less penalspam. T70 takes 3 shots to kill in WBP. It's now even more superior to AC and Luchs. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Dat hypocrisy though... For soviets, losing time is a problem. For Ostheer it's core design. "For ost, you have to build tier1 in order to get anything else than HMG - core desing" What if I told you: For Sovs, you have to build T1 in order to get anything else than Cons - Core design. Check your facts better. In: COH2 Gameplay |

You can go T2 and get a Zis. T2 is very cheap. But obviously you want even more Penals to put more pressure on your opponent, huh? Lastly, Luchs is nowhere near as game-changing as T-70 squad-wipe machine. Check ImperialDane, Tightrope, GG shoutcasts for similar comments. Allies have all tons of handheld AT and the best light tanks while Axis have expensive, 4-men handheld AT squads. 3x PTRS vs light tank > 1 shrek 2x Zookas vs light tank > shrek 2x Piats vs light tank > shrek In: COH2 Gameplay |

This means T1 players can have their cake and eat it too. They get mainline infantry with flamethrowers to totally deny garrison / cover use. Then they don't even need to tech up for 12 minutes because PTRS will handle anything the axis can field. They get the benefits of a strong early game and little in the way of downsides. Axis can't harrass 'cos the M3 can chase you all the way to base and wipe a squad. Axis can't use cover because of flamers Axis have to bunch up and lose map control Axis hard counters are instantly countered by the same tier. Scout car vs PTRS = PTRS win. Luchs can't do much pushing either. There should be a trade-off for the early power boost. And why the hell do all Allied infantry have good handheld AT for their mainline and elite inf when Axis lights and mediums are weaker than allied lights and mediums and the OKW had their shrek taken. Enemy at the Gates was a fictional movie, not a factual documentary. Everything you saw there was made up with the exception of a few names. Do you really feel that a movie is basis for factual debate? You're like the girl who said "I watched a documentary about Titanic but they got it all wrong, they didn't even mention Rose and Jack!" Flame nade = repeated munitions cost. A squad can leave a garrison and move to another or to cover. OKW squads CANNOT do this vs flamers. ISG = very slow to hurt garrisoned units. Penal flamethrower = very fast. Stuka = 100 fuel and comes much later than penal flamethrowers. The Soviets have a great advantage from the very early game, which translates into a fuel advantage for them and a fuel lack for the OKW (slowing down your Stuka solution) Lastly: (even though you completely changed topic) "usf have to face garrisoned (the most op mg in game) MG42" Vickers is arguably the best MG in the game. Gets more range when vetted and does more damage. USF also have smoke grenades on their mainline infantry for a small fuel cost. In: COH2 Gameplay |

And while you're out of cover, the other 5 models in the squad (and any other nearby squad) are wrecking you. And the Penals can happily sit in cover because the OKW have no flamethrower. OKW can't clear garrisons well and with penal-flamers everywhere, they can't even USE garrisons. But it's ok because after 115 fuel they can have a Luchs and counter the T1 play. Oh, wait...
