The "Break the supply" airstrike has really strange damage output. It can't even destroy a half health cache! I think incresing the damage of it at least to do half health damage to caches will a meaningful change. |
They do have hold fire, it's just assigned to a different hotkey. Because of hotkey issues with the numerous abilities and upgrades that Stormtroopers have.

The stormtroopers in Elite Troops doctrine does not have 'Hold fire' ability, whereas the other two namely German infantry and Encriclement docs have them with the 'Hold fire' ability.
Is this meant to be that way? Or a bug?
The 'Hold fire' ability is soo useful and goes soo well with this unit. Hence, made me to think it was a bug. However, interesting observation was that 'Hold fire' ability slot was replaced with stun nade...like who uses that with Stormtroopers? hmmm |

AFAIK this is cosmetic only, and because the vet changes can't be rolled back if recrewed.
Same thing applies to Ost tanks that have vetted up to armored skirts.
But it has been a while since it was brought up and I could stand to be corrected on the stats not carrying over.
A bit scary if a those stats get carried over indeed. |
I noticed this bug happening a few times when the AT gun reaches vet3 and gets decrewed. Then, if re-crewed, it still has the vet3 armor piercing shell travel effects. I am not sure if those extra penetration bonus still applies to a re-crewed AT gun or just the effect. Below is a video where it happens in a 1v1 cast game,

There could be something like a Canadian Assault Section or something added.
An assualt close-medium range unit like Pgrens would be a great choice. Is there anything like that in the campaign? |
Maybe can do something at 5men squad upgrade and rework tech tree……
How so? Personally, i think 5-men upgrade is fine. To address the faction itself i think we dont need to buff infan section rather add a late game unit like obers for OKW. |
Been playing UKF since the patch and I figured out why this doc has been the least played with and considered weak by many since the last patch that nerfed one critical unit, infantry sections. However, this thread is not about buffing infantry sect, rather about the brit faction design.
You see, the reason why inf sect are soo critical with brits is cuz its their one and only non doc mainline 'combat' infantry. While other factions,
SOV:
-Cons
-Penals
OKW:
-Volks
-Obers
Wehrm:
-Grens
-Pgrens
USF:
-Rifles,
-Captains,
-Lieutenant
-many more
Hence, this tells us the UKF needs a bit diversity in its units. I have no personal suggestions but I think you guys could discuss what sort of unit the brits need to make them great again!
