Even other nations used Cavalry in eastern europe, even Italy for that matter since they were lagging behind. The Battle of Krasnobród was considered a myth. Some say it had occurred. History is written by those in different aspects. One telling partly while missing the other. There is even also suggested reports saying that there was events that occurred that cavalry engaged even tanks although that is absurd but it is a fact. Even if the battle did not take place. There was still usage of Cavalry during the war. Every source is different. History is always being debated continuously. You can consider some elements and aspects true while other are still being discussed. I never said Conscripts fought without weapons. Only some were not armed. 1940-1941 they were still not entirely economically and militarily prepared. SU was not prepared only until 1948 which was their intended goal of being fit for conflict. You can take your time in reading history books and watching documentaries. Enemy at the Gates is not all true. Only certain elements, the rest is for the purpose of drama and entertainment. Thread: Universal carrier rework thread13 May 2019, 17:34 PM I would not mind that fuel change is if they had proper changes to certain gameplay elements. Raketenwerfer removed with Pak40 instead. Cuz annoying for allies early and for axis late. AT guns and now Firenade becomes available after 1 Base built. Pzfaust available early instead. Make MG34 do something, its pretty lackluster. Replace useless Infrared Halftrack for something viable. Who needs an idle recon unit anyway. The reason why they require early aggression is also due to the fact that they do not have any means to produce more of it. Nerf fuel and give the possibility to get caches. This would intend to nerf their overall early strength and gains of map control and even make the timing of vehicles come later. These following changes would also help increase the flow of play. Making it enjoyable for actually, both sides. Just by only nerfing their fuel and early map controls which will completely affect OKW negatively overall. I do agree on the fact of nerfing but help also improve certain broken and unbalanced elements too would help also. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: What if OKW had standard starting resources?13 May 2019, 17:16 PM Remove Infrared Halftrack (useless unit except team games), make it a doctrine unit. Being the least used unit for something productive instead. Maybe add Pak40 since they are utterly vulnerable in terms of AT mid to late game. That is an issue OKW experiences is proper AT equipment. Revamp or remove Raketenwerfer since it is a nuisance for both sides and for balancing purposes. Nerf Camo completely to the state where it is activiated upon the unit being idle/stationary only. Or remove camo for some other ability. Improve the range of Rak as any other AT gun. If that is too much just simply remove it with Pak40 instead. Make it come after a base built according to every other factions timing with AT guns and give access to them Pzfaust early. Lock Fire nade until 1 base built. Starting points as it currently is fine in my opinion. Maybe manpower reduction and increase fuel. Do not know exactly. Any proportional changes would do just fine! It is just how they start is the annoying issue and what unit, do and donts is,... just needs changing.! In: COH2 Balance

Why you want that OKW was like USF in possibilities, but don't want that USF have the same possibilities like OKW (KT or rocket arty as example)? USF halftruck is better than OKW, but P4 better than Sherman in tank battles. Each faction have their strong and weak sides. USF has great stuff also. That as AA Halftrack, Pack Howizter (best mortar), Great Anti Tank Gun (that has the possibility to extend range and penetration leaving them with slim chances), M8A1 Howitzer, M20 Utility car and Jackson. USF has both great AI and AT capabilities also. I do not think OKW halftrack for its current performance is worth it or even justified for that matter. I have tested not so long ago, just to compare the differences in performance wise against infantry and both against Puma in medium ranges. I will tell later, but you can clearly see it for it yourself! If you are interested. Just by evaluating, I can see why that OKW clearly has only one choice, being its only chance is Mechanized. Which is a rather dull system since it is the only viable option. If you dont go Mechanized, chances are screwed is pretty huge. That makes OKW lacking diversity and predictable. The only viable light vehicle choice for OKW against infantry is Luchs only. Hardly any choice really. Can go Walking Stuka but we know how it ends up! Devs need to look into this! The OKW Flak-Halftrack. That is if and when they can do so look into this matter! In: COH2 Gameplay

The USF Flak Halftrack main gun does 40 damage (has 2 AOE which helps compensate with its poorer accuracy but it does hit infantry), and its MGs does 16 damage (since it has 2 dealing each 8 damage) which makes it very leathal and potent against other light vehicles especially against infantry units. I mean just 16 damage for OKW Halftrack is like a bolt action shot, its damage being equivalent to the USF AA MGs although it has an AOE. It should be anything above that value. Maybe 18, or even 20 as it was. Maybe damage increase is an overstatement but why not is the question according these stats? Here is the stats: https://www.coh2db.com/stats/#141 (OKW Flak Halftrack) https://www.coh2db.com/stats/#23 (USF Haltrack) I am trying to keep an open on this but it seems rather flawed for 2 MGs dealing a total of 16 damage in addition to its main gun 40 damage dealing a sum of 56. While the OKW FlakHaltrack having only one gun which is the main gun dealing only 16 damage. The ratio 56:16 is quite a huge proportion. I am not trying to give it a deserving credit to buff AA vehicle. I am open to opinions whether it may be for or against.Just a reasonable solution or rather a dispute on how to make more out of the damage it has. Maybe by instead increasing rate of fire, AOE, decreasing reload time, something! The is fact is that it feels it has been understated. No just according to the stats but also according to what I have experienced between using these 2 vehicles! This is an opinion, not trying to assert this idea. Just want to know what you guys have to say about this! USF halftrack in 1v1 is much more viable and capable in many more situations in contrast. Again, that is my opinion! A vehicle (OKW halftrack) that has to setup does less efficiently overall. Even then USF has to setup but becomes exceptionally better!. The fact is, USF AA can hold itself against infantry very well and even light vehicles. Can potentially combat Puma but its chances are like 35%-50%. It is inadvisable tough trying to use it against Puma. OKW which is reasonably good against infantry, does not have the same or even the strength to even combat against light vehicles. I am not saying it should be able to but it feels overall undermined! That is a fact that most players I am of certain are quite aware of if this, pros in this instance since I hardly even see them use it, particularly in 1v1 games! If you evaluate the differences and its capabilities. You can just look to the recent games and evaluate even yourself. How often does either of these vehicles are usually used and how efficiently. What certain situations is it able to adapt to. Even, how often does any player even consider building these units. Curious as to what you guys are going to say! In: COH2 Gameplay

Fast repairs due to having average hp and armor while designed to use several mediums instead of one big heavy tank, at least that's how it used to be, now we got the Pershing too. Pop Cap Feature is Relic Approved until further notice. Why would Wehr be a lategame faction again? Because of their extra tier? Because they should win by default when they get a T4 Unit out? Wehr is getting buffs next patch, but I don't see why people think they should win, just because they stalled until they teched up. I don't get it. It is not about winning. It is just to make Wehrmacht more viable since infantry become more exposed/vulernable and repairs being above more demanding. Just to make it more viable. I do agree that we should wait until the patch is released. Then we can actually decide! In: COH2 Gameplay

Even USF can hold it's own nowadays in the lategamwe, there is no reason we should reward a faction with a win, just because it stalled one VP and it's high resources. USF is kind of that faction that gains or keeps getting better until late game. Have to admit that it is kind of tough in the beginning but keeps getting better and better. USF base infantry Riflemen becomes the best infantry with upgrades, Vehicles that wear off enemy armour but that is not the major part. Better and quicker repairs also to reengage a lot quicker. Somehow also have the numbers, pop cap. Wehr should or supposingly a late game faction just seems lagging behind. Based on infantry and repairing scaling poorly hindering their late game vehicles advancements. Infantry just becomes vulnerable to more dangers and thus having to rely heavily upon vehicles. Forcing even pios to retreat or prioritize repairing (and it kills the momentum due to their slow and limiting repairs, same for SU although their infantry 6 man is what prevents them from lagging behind) limiting even wehr infantry engagements. Kind of an issue I would say for Wehrmacht. In: COH2 Gameplay
