I think it would a cool feature for Grens to get a passive ability once upgraded with MG42.
When behind cover, the bursts are longer and shoots more frequently. Only applied to the user of the MG42. Since they are defensive unit, they should get some form of defensive passive ability. Would suit them.
I do not think a gren shooting with MG42 on the move is a good idea. Realistically, that guy would shoot up the clouds.
Ideally behind cover, should shoot more often and frequently. No accuracy bonuses. |
What kind of explosion is that? |
I believe Grenadiers do require something. It is true that they can not maintain the frontline and have to retreat often and the fact they are limited to 4 man. The fact their received accuracy is worse than Tommies and Tommies can have 5 man with multiple upgrades although lack the ability to snare.
Overall Grens do require in some aspect either increasing the damage or survivability to make them more potent.
If anything in my aspect is survivability.
Instead of giving them extra man or extra damage. I was thinking of something different. Maybe in after Battle Phase 2, you can upgrade any of the Osteehr infantry units including support weapons to gain additional 10-20 HP to each model. To give them better chances than easy squad wipes. To sum this up, Grens 4 man in total have currently 320 HP, with upgrade they will get 400 HP. Around there.
I think this is a good resolution as it is not asking for too much or too little.
Currently they are a huge liability to many dangers in terms of being outnumbered and blown into pieces.
An upgrade that provides extra health / HP , I this is a clear resolution. It won't make them too strong nor as they are currently vulnerable. |
Med base is definitely a good base for infantry pressure as you can place the headquarters forward and resupply.
It is definitely true that Mechanized is used most often due to the fact it is more adaptable and has somewhat stronger alternatives.
Infrared Halt-track is undoubtedly good in team games such as 3v3 and 4v4 but I do not think that reason should be convenient enough just to have that unit in Medbase. Maybe I was thinking like a tech choice similarly to what the Brits have.
Either choose an Inftrared Haltrack or another suggested unit.
Maybe just simply add another different unit in the Med base.
Currently as it stands, 1v1 in my experiences is pretty bad. Going Flak Half Track is unadaptable in many situations especially urban areas and it is vulnerable. Luchs in contrast is more consistent, adaptable and has more health. More incentive to use Luchs.
The LEIG mortar is quite lackluster although it has the range but it means nothing. It is AOE being the worst in comparison to every other faction mortars meaning a less overall damage. The only reason for this mortar is just using the smoke. It would be quite nice to add another ability so that there would be more reason to use it. HE shells for increased AOE or Incendiary rounds. It should get another ability.
Infrared Halt Track in 1v1. Who uses it?
Med Base needs some kind of revamp. Currently 1v1 is most often the worst choice. While Mechanized which has provided me with more results has always been the only best alternative in OKW terms of battle tech choices. I feel that is the only route in order to properly win as OKW. |
1.Molotov be default ability, no need upgrade at HQ
2.PPSH be default weapon upgrade, after build any 2 HQ(T1+T2 or T1/T2 +T3)unlock upgrade, after upgrade PPsh,Cons can uses “uraaa!” and replace molotov by grenade
3.Commander ability PPsh upgrade replace by 2x can't drop DP,I think DP with prone is more better
Option 1 Agreed.
Option 2 PPSH yes but "Oraah" ability should be removed when upgraded. Molotov should stay since it is a nice feature considering other allied factions have nades already.
Option 3 I am not too sure. I was thinking the default should require to reload more often while the doctrine less often. Make it separable or different from one another in a unique way.

OKW med base has usually merely 1 or 2 viable unit options which are either the Flak Halftrack and LEIG Mortar.
Infrared Halftrack seems a more or less derelict unit since it is not a combat unit. I think it is kind of ridiculous considering that there are better options, even then other factions do not have a unit that does not have a combat role.
I was thinking of a replacement would be nice. Why have a non-combatant unit?
That causes a huge power loss/gap.
Maybe replace it with a scout car or some kind of supportive unit would be balanced.
Usually in 1v1, it is the worst option since there is only 1 or 2 units to choose from. Flak which is decent but Luchs is always more preferable and consistent.
The mortar which is kinda lackluster due to dealing the least damage output of all mortars. I think it has to do with the fact it has less AOE in comparison to other mortars although it is somewhat more accurate.
I feel that med base serves no other proper purpose except healing and forward HQ. Infantry focused.
Everyone knows why Mechanized is the choice for most situations. It has proper AI and AT while med base lacks utterly in both areas especially in terms of unit choices and performance wise.
I think replacing Infrared Halftrack with a unit that has a more useful purpose would be more ideal on a battlefield.
Why not replace it with a Pak40 would be a better resolution.
I mean, how often do you guys use Med base and which units when playing OKW?
For me, certainly not the Flak or Leig and Infrared Halftrack. I go usually Mechanized. |
It's not the arc, but the rotation.
Thx for the correction. |
Many have already asked this question, but there was no answer, apparently modders can not attach the animation of a parachute from the American and German paratroopers to a different model.
Thanks |
What I hope is new factions, more content. Continue to make this game.
Refurnish the game and make trailers to entice!
Like what Heroes and Generals does! |
Yeah, putting a band aid on an open fracture is going to fix everything.
What do you expect. A good buff then a substantial nerf. It is definitely a good start! |
