I always thought they could not and said "damn that sucks" Yep, they also fire MG42s, M34s and M1919s on the move Obers/Paras/Airbourne Guards/Commandos can all fire MG42/Mg34/1919/DP28 when on the move Commandos/Air Officer also get the Bren Vickers K can't be fired on the move by anyone. I'm not sure about MG42/DP28 on-the-move stats, if they are "elite" or anything like that, and how they compare to Commando Bred and Para 1919. I've pointed that out some time ago, but noone paid any attention to it so I thought it was well known. Guess I should have made a thread about it In: COH2 Bugs

I mean most units as in type of unit (since some don't get that +1 hit benefit), not most on the map. I'd say he does this to support his ongoing crusade against all things allied, obviously MG42 only has 30% better performace than Bren, while Vickers is x119% better. And is the vickers lmg worth the extra 15 muni? If you ignore all the nonsense above, the short answer is: Vickers has about 0.8 more DPS at max range and the closer the range, the less of an advantage it has, and arout range 15 Bren and Vic become equal If you have the doctrine, you might as well use it (unless you have better things to spend ammo on), but its not worth picking the doc just for them. Oh and it has 100 times better firing sound, and thats the only reason you really need to pick Vickers over Bren XD. In: COH2 Gameplay

I have said before - I am sympathetic to retaining T-34 ram as is, but the criticism of the ability as it is currently implemented does not seem unfounded to me, and a vet requirement would intrinsically make this ability more difficult and somewhat more situational to pull off by virtue of vetting a tank to that level. All the same, vetting a T-34 is not an extremely difficult task. Honestly at this point we might as well remove the ability in favor of something different. I'm not denying it's effectivness but a sacrifice-ability in a game with focus on unit preservation seems counter-intuitive. It makes even less sense on t34/85. In: Lobby

You have 2 different units with 2 different sets of abilities Commandoes can (reasonably) double down as UKFs frontline assault unit Stormtroopers are more focused as behind enemy lines capping/cache destroying ambush units They can spawn behind enemy lines for one (and infiltration commmandos start at 3 models) without a big glider pointing where they are. Why should cheaper main battle tank be able to beat a more expensive AT only platform? Because thats what all your whining about Jackson suggests. Not sure what's the point of this thread is, Jackson isn't going anywhere, it's the only decent source of non-doc mobile AT USF has, not even super-powered AT gun and M4A3 buffs will change that. Seperate Airalnding Officer and the Assault Officer into 2 different units Make so only 1 is allowed on the field, problem solved, At this point I feel the units are distinct enough to split them.
